She gave him a look. She knew her friend had bouts where he’d just lose himself but she would always find out about it later. He’d pathetically admit he’d drank himself to oblivion and promise not to do it again but he’d still do it. “I don’t want to hear it.” She helped him up with a serious expression. “I’m only here because you called me just before you passed out. You garbled something ridiculously stupid then conked out. I came over to make sure you’re okay.”
She sighed, nose scrunching slightly at the strong scent of alcohol. Krystal only ever liked the smell if she was drinking too, but in this situation, it was a no-go. “You realize how late it is, right? I was worried you passed out on the street.” The younger lightly dusted off his shirt looking him up with tender eyes. “Were you thinking about…” she trailed off, figuring she was right. He was probably thinking of his family. A family which he had no more.
Leo remains silent, shoulder noticeably shrugged as he's forced to stand up, and for a second he has to grip onto the youngest's shoulder to avoid falling, luckily for both, she's stronger than him. His eyes squeeze shut and a hand lifts to tiredly rub his eyes again, he still can't quite focus his sight. "I-i'm fine... I'm home, r-right?" He stutters as he tries to get a grip of himself "I'm... Sorry i bothered you so late..." He really means it, with her wedding preparations and a son to take care of, Leo knows he's making her waste precious time.
Her voice might trail off, but her words were already spoken and of course he knows the meaning behind them. Memories rush through his mind and make his heart thump painful, his head drops, and he holds onto his breath as he tries to push them away. There's no need to give her an answer, because she knows the truth already. His hand drops from her shoulder to his side and he turns on his heels, stumbling his way across the messy living room that reeks of alcohol "G-go home Krys.. I'm fine..."
