      Sitting atop on of the emptier tables in the lab,       Al looked up when someone entered the room.         Clipboard in hand as he offered them a greeting smile.         Not moving from the table as he spoke.

       "Good morning."

 ”Oh woe is me….” he smiles. He leans up into the kiss, wrapping his arms around the other’s shoulders. “Hi baby… welcome home…” he murmurs against the other’s lips. The whole apartment smelt like baked goods and warmth. He presses against the other’s body, as much as the bump would allow and leans into the kiss. “I love you…”

"Mmmm.. love you too, baby." he smiled against Edwin's lips and took his hand, gently leading him to the couch, intent on spending the rest of the evening cuddling and kissing the other. He really didn't care about the pie that much, he just wanted to be close to Edwin. His little scientist was sweeter than any dessert.

[Text] The kitchen is full of muffins and cookies and cupcakes and I am not sorry.

[SMS] Edwin…[SMS] Baby…….[SMS] Don’t you ever get tired of baking??

He blinks and looks up at Chuck, tilting his head. “Sure baby, what’s up?” Edwin says as he stands and turns to face the man. Though as the other begins to talk he’s sort of struck silent. Though as he speaks, tears begin to stream down Edwin’s face. A hand slowly raises to cover his mouth and he then slowly sits down, finding it hard to stand any longer.

"B-Baby…." he stutters through tears. Then pops the question and Edwin just breaks down. He just sobs, covering his face. He can’t speak, what would he say? For a minute he just cries into his hands before just nodding profusely and he just leans forward to wrap his arms around Chuck neck and keeps on crying. He just keeps nodding and sobbing.

Eventually he pulls back, still crying mind you, and takes Chuck’s face in his hands and kisses him deeply. “Yes…” he wheezes out, right hand coming down to cradle his stomach. “Yes…” he nods before leaning in to kiss Chuck again.

The K-Science lab wasn't the greatest place to propose. The smell of Kaiju guts and preservative fluids really wasn't the most romantic thing in the entire world, but it had to do. He'd been near tears with anxiety on his way to the not-so-romantic lab, and now he was crying with happiness. Edwin had said yes. Yes. To him.

He held Edwin close and kissed him deeply, the tears streaming down his face showing no sign of stopping. "I love you." he murmured against Edwin's lips. "I love you so much." he kissed Edwin again, hands cradling the others face.
