Can we talk about how Kevin Smith a use-to be known good director from Hollywood is directing episodes of CW shows? There was a write up & interviews with the girl who plays Supergirl & a couple guys from the show & the dude who plays the Flash & how awesome it must be to have a big time HWood director directing their terrible shows. But they left out the fact that HWood discarded him because he was making crap. Clerks was good. The first one & it being his first movie & only being made for 1/2

$25 grand out of his own pocket. But he’s not marketable anymore & there’s many videos/interviews of him kicking his feet like a child because HWood won’t hire him. Nothing against people who smoke but for the past few years he started smoking pot daily, all day pretty much & directs stoned out of his mind. Including the CW shows. The actors said it was ‘interesting’ having him direct & all of them were like awkward about it especially the SG actress. Eluding to him being a mess at it. 2/2

If two of your biggest achievements as director is shooting Jersey Girl and Jay & SIlent Bob Strike Back (which fucking cost 22 MILLION DOLLARS in 2001. Adjusted for inflation that’s a present day budget 31,250,000) then you don’t deserve a job. Why is a woman not directing those episodes? Why is a WOC not directing those episodes instead of washed up frat boy Kevin? If a WOC showed up to set high she’d be escorted off the premises and never work again. Don’t doubt that for a second.
