Negative Review:

Mod note: Normally I would not post reviews like these but as it came posted non-anonymously (so as to confirm the submitter is indeed Levengale #171210) I thought it perhaps useful to allow it through, albeit for reasons not in the mind of the submitter.

Who: KT13 (#308491)

What: Dom Shop

Why: Took my money and disappeared for nearly 24 hours

When: July 8 - July 9

Explain: On July 8 at 20:53 FRT, I commented on KT13’s dom shop post requesting Jaguar and Rosette genes.

Four minutes later, I was told to send them the 204k treasure, which was accepted by KT13 at 21:06 FRT.

The last post on their shop before disappearing was at 21:42 FRT.

I heard nothing from them for the rest of the night. I thought maybe they were having marketplace troubles, but even my sporadic checking of the MP found both genes at different times. I figured that they would have the delivery to me in the morning and signed off for the night.

Unfortunately, there was no message or CR when I logged back on twelve hours later. I checked their shop (which still said it was open) and pinged them for an update.

I heard absolutely nothing from them until 19:53 on July 9, nearly a full day after they took my money. And then, they send me this message:

No apology, no explanation, just this. They also didn’t bother refunding my tip.

They also added a little blurb to their original post about not responding to pings (to absolve them of responsibility for not responding in a timely manner, I guess):

I realize a lot of this is on me for my poor judgement in judging a new dom shop with an unestablished account, but theirs was the first one that opened on Sunday and I was hoping to gene up a dragon to put on a nest that night.

As glad as I am that the situation worked out, the way KT13 handled the situation was stressful and unprofessional. In this case, I would strongly recommend patronizing a more reputable dom shop and give KT13 a hard pass.

Camp As Usual!

Hi All- If you’re checking this because you heard of the fire at the Nairobi airport, we are all fine and far, far away from the airport! It is camp at usual today as there is no real information at this time as the fire continues. We will keep everyone updated on the situation as news becomes available.

Please pray that all would be fine and operational as we are slated to leave on Saturday and have many connecting flights to make!   Make sure you’re staying updated via our Facebook page which we are able to update almost daily! Thank you! We love you! KT13
