27. Have you ever wished on a star? What about on a fallen eyelash?

Stars, yes always i love stars. I always look for Orion because it was the first constellation i could find by myself so i usually wish on the middle star of his belt. Eyelashes, hmm maybe? If I have its one that someone else noticed for me and held it up saying “make a wish.” I think wishes are good though speak things into existence! 

47. Where/when do you truly feel at home?

hm i think this is very up to the moment. its not really a place, its definitely more like a feeling like where you can just /be/ idk i have always struggled with this concept

7. Do you have any stuffed animals?

i do!! i have a leopard stuffed cat i’ve had since i was a little kid, it’s name is anna! also a friend and i did build a bear on a whim a few months ago so i have a cute dog in a wonderwoman outfit lol

46. Most beautiful place you’ve been to?

Cefalú, Sicily. I went by myself while living in Italy and it was the best weekend of my life. I walked the entire stone boardwalk that lines the back of the city and the ocean, hiked up to the Temple of Artemis, and just overall had the best time it was so beautiful.

52. How do you express love to those you care about?

“text me when you get home.” and sending memes and posts that make me think of them :) 

89. What are you most nostalgic for at the moment?

college!!! i miss being in school and learning. (hopefully i’ll be starting again soon!!! thanks covid!!!)

2. What’s the most beautiful songs you’ve ever heard in your opinion?

hmm this was hard. I think I am going to go with The Stag composed by Patrick Doyle. it’s from the Cinderella (2015) score and its just very Good. it conveys so many emotions in such a short amount of time. 

4. What kind of self care is your favorite to do? 

naps mostly! i will also try and change things up a bit if i can like dyeing my hair, or getting another tattoo! change is good and it makes me change my mindset as well.

10. Opinion on love?

Philia (friendship love) is the best kind of love its full of fun and heart and independence. but like eros love like romance? i mean i love watching it and reading it and everything but i am very pessimistic on the long term of romantic love 

19. Favorite old film?

idk if this counts as an old movie but its a little more than a decade older than me?? Princess Bride. It’s one of my favorite movies of all time!!!!

41. Introvert or Extrovert?

introvert for sure. i cannot hang out with people constantly i get so drained it really is like that dead battery analogy they use for stereotypical introverts. don’t get me wrong i love my friends but i also need to be alone for a bit or i am no fun.

57. What makes you smile?

my dog does this thing where she gets impatient with you when you don’t give her attention and she just starts throwing her toys in your lap or pushing them into your legs and its so incredibly cute i smile every time

12. Who do you look up to?

i had a few very lovely professors in undergrad that i just adore. One was an ex-CIA agent who quit because they wanted her to do something against her morals and so she decided to become a teacher who educates on different social issues and how they are affected by the modern world of communication. shes my HERO shes so cool and she writes all my letters of recommendation. the other is a professor i had when I lived in Italy, and he was one of the only openly gay teachers ive ever had (he brought his husband to every social event!!) and we became really close when i came out to him in a paper i wrote and he helped me with a lot in terms of the world of education and sexuality!

22. What upsets you most about the world?

in this economy? everything. but to get really specific: Period Poverty. im actually going to grad school for this specific reason, but its literally ridiculous that some kids have to MISS school during their period because of lack of materials, emotional and physical support, and/or lack of clean facilities!!!! its insane!!! just give kids what they need to make sure being on their period doesn’t affect their education!!!!

36. Imagine your ideal life, the life you wish to make, what will that look like?

im living in a city by the water sitting on a window seat with a cat in my lap and a book on the desk by me and i’ve just come home from a work trip where i made a difference in someone’s life.

oooo i actually mentioned this in another ask as a backstory for a different question!! an old friend introduced me to Laughter Lines by Bastille and now its in every playlist i have ever made
