I finally rewatched the parts with Kublai and Khulan. Ngl, Kublai is an absolute unit of man. He donated two different pieces of his heart to seperate people and hardly seems fazed.
What do you think of those two? I think their designs and characters are pretty neat for the most part.
afaik kublai is the only character to give two different heart pieces which is kind of absurd. man has an insane amount of confidence and love in his heart and I kind of love him for that. everyone else is getting heartbroken by shadar and he's out here living his best life
I do like kublai and khulan I think they're sweet,, I have a few. gripes with how their characters are handled (I don't like khulan's borderline caricature lips and kublai just randomly dropping that he's been watching over khulan since she was a little girl is. not great.) but their storyline is nice and kublai's design kicks ass,, I like their interactions a lot in dotdd

The Yuan Dynasty's Rule over China: Italian Tourist Blogger Marco Polo - The Yuan Dynasty and Marco Polo (on Wattpad) https://www.wattpad.com/1406357613-the-yuan-dynasty%27s-rule-over-china-italian-tourist?utm_source=web&utm_medium=tumblr&utm_content=share_reading&wp_uname=timeprinter2500&wp_originator=Wo5dV2YAdooEQE9fptNE3eqhytFzdBTztYGG2NmZzzv0Y3Nm%2BzfwRq4eFnTUwIsCBB%2BQBu%2BTqz%2FMtcSHqV97cX4N17rD3MThB3c2vpJTKUPfNJ7EGKttV%2F5E3daTF6Nm The article explores the Yuan Dynasty, a period in Chinese history established by Kublai Khan, a Mongol leader. The dynasty lasted from 1206 to 1368 and brought significant changes to China. The Mongols, who had already occupied northern China, officially proclaimed the Yuan Dynasty in 1271, with Beijing as their capital. Kublai Khan's decision to adopt the name "Yuan" represented a fresh start for China under non-Han Chinese rulers. The article also highlights the integration of Mongol and Chinese cultures, economic development initiatives, and the impact of Marco Polo's travels during this period. The Yuan Dynasty's legacy includes its influence on subsequent dynasties and its role in shaping Chinese history through cultural exchange and governance reforms.
