If we're doing anime moments I'm happy to offer a redemption arc from my time in Diamond where I thought I played the game wrong and restarted my game hdjdj

Brilliant Diamond, I wanted to beat the e4 on my birthday so I already was on a bit of a time crunch-the first runthrough I was simply too underleveled for Cynthia and had to take the defeat and go through the group again

I get a few more levels in the second run, but my highest is still about 5-6 levels under Cynthia's lowest level. By this point I already had a good idea of each type of thing the AI would try and had a v poor idea of what I had to do hdjsjs

At the time my entire team was knocked out save for my Lucario against her Garchomp, who I calculated that as long as there wasn't a crit-I could use two turns to use the full revives I had for two other team members.

What I DIDN'T account for was my Lucario taking the two hits, but then friendship enduring back to back which allowed me to land two Dragon Pulses which brought her Garchomp JUST at about half hp-enough to not set her off into a full restore. Thankfully the Garchomp I had was somehow able to outspeed hers and I Draco Meteor'd for the victory with about 30 minutes left in the day to get my Hall of Fame entry on my bday

JEEZ That's so lucky, congrats!!

Lucario isn't even the bulkiest Pokémon out there, so it's amazing how it was not just able to tank two hits but also endure and land consecutive hits. This really is an anime moment, how memorable!
