. Kuko sure as hell would've bodied Iyogi, first off.

. Turns out Kuko is a transfer student.

. Classmates spread this and that about why Kuko transfered. "I heard he pushed a guy off the rooftop." and "He snapped at a teacher who told him to get rid of his piercings."

. Kuko's canon situation applies in that Hitoya saved him but now he also had to change schools as a repercussion.

. Kuko and Jyushi start hanging out and the school starts talking about them like "are they dating?" and "why are the school punk and v-kei guy suddenly friends?" but they're only seeing the start of a great friendship!!

. Bullies and potential love interests start to see Jyushi as off limits when they feel Kuko glaring holes into their head (in reality, he's just making sure they don't try anything weird; he can't help his resting face!)

. At the same time, girls ask Jyushi if Kuko is single since they seem close, and Jyushi feels guilty for not wanting to tell them the truth. Kuko doesn't mind; he's so laid back, and if girls think he's taken then they won't start following him around with gifts and stuff. He hopes that lessens Jyushi's unnecessary guilt a bit.

. Jyushi's grandmother always invites Kuko round for dinner. He politely declines at first but she insists, so he takes up her offer and omg the homecooked meal made with absolute love for her grandson and his new friend just can't compare to anything else.

. "Jyushi, let's swap homes. I wanna eat your grandma's cooking all the time. Do me this solid." // "D-Don't you have a temple to look after?! Go home!" meanwhile his Grandma is watching them with such a great smile. She approves of her future grandson in law!

How it started:

The first time they met they were around 14 (Jyushi) and 15 (Kuko) years old. Jyushi was crying in the school restroom. Kuko saw that boy with his face smudged with tears and mascara and couldn’t help asking what was wrong.

At first Jyushi was wary of Kuko, thinking he was just another guy who would mock him, but after noticing Kuko wasn’t laughing he got a bit calmer. He explained the other guys were messing with him bc of his style and Kuko was very nice to him, saying there was nothing wrong with his style.

Kuko said it was okay for guys to wear makeup and such, that didn’t make them less of a man, and those bullies should shove it. But that was no reason for Jyushi to invade the girls’ restroom, bc someone could mistake him for a pervert and he could get into trouble.

Jyushi said he knew that but it was the only place he knew his bullies wouldn’t look for him. And also pointed out that Kuko was also a boy in the girls’ restroom so he couldn’t say shit.

Kuko suddenly got serious and said that his situation was different. Jyushi didn’t get it, but didn’t ask further bc he noticed Kuko was distressed with that subject.

After that day they became friends and started hanging out together despite being in different years/classes. When Jyushi was with Kuko the other guys didn’t usually approach him bc it seemed Kuko imposed respect despite his short stature.

Jyushi noticed that many people like teachers and such refered to Kuko using feminine pronouns, and “-san” instead of “-kun”, so he asked Kuko about that. Kuko looked upset, but he already trusted Jyushi so he explained that he was trans, and the school didn’t respect his wish to be treated as a man. Of course, this changed nothing in the way Jyushi saw him, and their friendship continued the same, only growing stronger with time. Kuko was relieved and happy.

They started frequenting each other’s houses, passing more time together out of school. Kuko thought Jyushi’s room, filled to the brim with posters of VK bands, was pretty cool and very like him, he felt comfortable there. Jyushi liked Kuko’s room too, it was a japanese style room in a big japanese style house.

They started dating one year later, the one to confess his feelings was Jyushi, and Kuko was really happy to hear his confession.

Some random headcanons:

When Kuko told Jyushi he wanted to paint his nails like his Jyushi was super excited to do that for him, but Kuko was kinda hesitant because since he was trans people might think he was “finally accepting that he was a girl” if he started doing “girly” things. Jyushi convinced him that what other people thought wasn’t important, that he himself was a man and painted his nails and continued to be a man, so Kuko could do it too.

Kuko’s favorite colors to paint his nails are black and red. Jyushi’s is black, but he can paint them of many different colors.

Kuko has a bit of a complex with his height bc he thinks he’s too short. Jyushi thinks he’s adorable that way.

Kuko started enjoying j-rock thanks to Jyushi, who lends him some CDs.

They were both each other’s first kiss! And later each other’s first time too, of course.

Kuko thinks it’s super cute how Jyushi carries his stuffed toy, Amanda, everywhere.

Kuko is the one who uses pet names the most, calling Jyushi “babe” and “my prince” when they’re alone.

Jyushi is gay, Kuko is bisexual.

They very rarely fight, but when they do it’s complicated. Due to Jyushi’s narcissistic nature he rarely sees when he was in the wrong, so even when it’s his fault it’s Kuko who has to come and talk to him first, and sometimes he gets frustrated at how blind Jyushi can be to his own flaws. They love each other too much tho, so they always end up solving things some way or another.

Kuko likes to say that when they get married Jyushi is gonna wear a dress because he would look stunning in one, and Jyushi always blushes and calls him stupid but never refuses the idea.
