I always imagined Suzume’s gone through a whole hell of a lot of really bad shit for someone her age and it’s what’s made her so jaded even at 20. Of course, that isn’t a unique thing, but I happen to enjoy tormenting my characters so, it’s a very little known fact that Suzume had a two week period of time when she was about 17 when she was being held captive after being caught, she has a lot of little scars in various hard to see places from the ordeal.

Machinist: Does your character have any interesting or unusual hobbies?

Thala’to likes to peoplewatch - which may not seem so unusual or interesting given that it’s somewhat included in the (roleplay)-Ul’dahran way of life for a lot of characters out there. But he really does pay attention to what people say, he watches their mannerisms, comes up with his own imaginations about what’s lead them to hang out where they’re hanging out. He never talks about it with anyone, unless of course someone is paying him money to talk about someone he’s observed.

¤: My character will give yours a Christmas present

Cyril glanced up curiously from where he sat in his chair, a small package wrapped in brown paper having been set in front of him. A very eager looking Xaela maid was standing on the far side of his desk, hands clasped neatly in front of her and a smile plastered over her face. She swayed a bit back and forth and leaned forward, making her already evident excitement that much more obvious.

“Well, won’t you open it~?♪ ”

The pirate huffed and rolled his eye dramatically in what was a false display of displeasure, easily disproven by the disarming smile and gentle shake of his head as he sat up properly and took the little package in his hands.

“You know, there was no need to go to such trouble on my account.”

“Hush, it is no trouble~. ♪ ”

“If you say so, my dear.”

Cyril hung his shoulders a bit as if in defeat, but still beamed with delight at Kulain. Nimble hands made quick work of the knot tied with pale string, and he unwrapped the thin little box from the brown paper. He made a few curious expressions and hefted the gift in his palm as if trying to guess what it was. He then set it down and took the lid off, unwrapping a glistening paper knife from a soft nest of tissues. It was a simple gift, a dull, bronze blade with an ivory handle. With the letters and parchments that littered his desk, it’d no doubt be put to good use. Cyril took it and held it up in the candlelight, turning it over to admire it before bowing his head politely to the Xaela.

“Oh, it’s lovely. Thank you very much.”
