Leaving his shop through the back door, Jae-min grinned as he took in the island air. It’s been decades since he been on this side of the world, but he was glad to be back. He’s been bored for far too long and never good even came from that. Hearing about the island was the best news he ever received. He enjoyed a good game and a good trick and what better place than an island feel of slaves. He wasn’t even aware of that fact until he arrived, it was icing on an already perfect cake. He could feed here for years and never grow tired and with his new game in mind, he would never run out of people and tricks to play.
Grinning to himself, he made his way towards campus, making sure to look as lost and confused as possible to draw someone to him. He was eager to begun. “Umm. Hi. I need help,” he said slowly and softly.
Evie let out a low sigh as she closed her shop for the day. A little earlier than usual, but she felt she deserved it. It was her first full week back after all, and running a store with minimal staff was hard enough even without recovering from her injury. She was completely wiped and just wanted to go home and slip into her hot tub with a glass of wine. But of course, she had to stop by campus first and pick up a few things for the coming new term. Her double major had never seemed quite as daunting.
Slipping on a pair of round, Jackie O. style sunglasses, the skater started her stroll towards campus, soon stopping though when she encountered a young man who looked as befuddled as she was sure she had on her first day. “Hello! I’m not sure how much help I would be but I can certainly try. I’m Evelyn” She introduced herself, with a friendly smile.
