1. What was my inspiration for this fic? How did it come to me?

well, if we're talking about the series as a whole, it mostly started in the middle of a really long tumblr mail convo with kathy and talking about eijun falling asleep while wating up for miyuki and how he'd eat junk left to his own devices and how exasperated miyuki would be about all of it. and psych0-olll3city had just drawn really cute pictures for 'slowly we all lay down' and i was like omg?????? i should write a thing as a thank you. and she'd also drawn the things about miyuki being afraid of bugs and it i was like OK I'LL DO THAT and somewhere along the way it all sort of merged together into some thing where they were living together but not going to the same schools in my head and that's really about it, hahah. like, it's literally a thing i made so i could write about cute headcanons and it's since sort of grown legs to be about the two of them taking care of each other a lot and idk. it's happy sunshine land, basically.

5. What part of the fic am I still dissatisfied with?

my least favorite part of the series as a whole thus far is probably 'your heart taking root' just because i'm really not very good at porn, lololol. like, i like everything about it except parts of my execution, i guess.

i dont really know exactly why i dont like it? i feel like theyre pretty good as a battery but romantically, it'd be bad. i feel like their personalities wouldn't mesh well together? miyuki would try to make him laugh but furuya wouldn't have much a reaction and most of their interactions would be awkward. and not the cute kind.

i also see furuya as being pretty guarded and cautious with his relationships. i dont think he sees miyuki as someone he can be very close with in that way? he's only just barely making progress with haruichi and sawamura.
