the difference between yoshiki and kurebayashi is that she wanted her husband back, and saw the spirit that infiltrated her life as a replacement for him. yes, yoshiki wanted hikaru back, but realized way quick that "hikaru" is not a replacement, but his own person. THAT is why they are going to work while kurebayashi's didn't. she doesn't understand because she never had the mindset that yoshiki does, she was never able to look past it. she said that she doesn't want to see yoshiki to end up like she did, but the fact that yoshiki already sees "hikaru" as his own entity means that he hasn't, and wont.
she starts her story with her late husband coming back home, but in reality it wasn't her husband. she knew that, she ignored it, and nothing worked out in her favor.
yoshiki starts his story with hikaru dying, and revealing "hikaru" as someone different. he didn't ignore it. they will work out.
