“Guren.”

Guren does not look up from her homework, but her pencil stills against the paper.

“You know,” Shinya starts, and Guren pulls her pencil back, annoyance flaring in her chest.

“It’s a Saturday afternoon—” Shinya stops abruptly as Guren huffs and whirls around. They meet eyes briefly, and then Guren flings her pencil, as powerfully as she can, in the other girl’s direction.

Shinya dodges it and then straightens up, measuring Guren with a glare.

“Don’t look at me like that,” Guren grumbles. “I’m trying to get my work done. Don’t you have something better to do than pester me?”

“I was just trying to make an observation!” Shinya protests.

“And I’m just trying to do my homework.”

“Oh, c’mon,” Shinya says, pouting. “I was just going to say...it’s Saturday afternoon, and you’re sitting here doing some math-y bullshit, when we could be out enjoying the weather. It’s a beautiful day, Guren! And you’re sitting here wasting it.”

“You can go out by yourself,” Guren points out. “You’re twenty-one years old. You don’t need someone to guide you around.”

Shinya pouts. “And what if I just want to spend some time with my favourite girl?”

“Mito-chan would probably be happy to spend some time with you if you called her,” Guren says dryly.

Shinya says something under her breath that Guren doesn’t quite catch, but the scowl on her face seems to say more than enough.

Guren sighs. It’s so hard to ignore Shinya sometimes, she thinks bitterly.

“Okay, fine,” she says. “Let me finish this, and then we’ll go out. There were some errands I wanted to run, anyway, you know.”

“Errands?!” Shinya demands. “I want lunch!”

“We can get lunch on the way,” Guren says, irritated. “Can I have my pencil back?”

“You say that like it’s not over here because you threw it at me,” Shinya says, sniffing.

Is Honey Trap sequel still happening? I reread the fic recently and I need continuation more than air. :3 You write such amazing Kureshingure fics.

_(:’3 ooooooh Honey Trap sequel.....SIGH...at some point I got stuck in that fic because Guren’s characterization wasn’t working (NOW I KNOW WHY, IT’S BECAUSE THERE’S 2 CHARACTERS IN ONE BODY !@*&?!!%#). Now, I’m just really busy, but I’ll take a look at what I have and try to figure out it. No promises, but thank you so much for letting me know you liked it!

bite by troye sivan is THE kureshin song. just listen trust me. it so well incorporates everything about their relationship.

So I TOTALLY agree with you about the voice thing, wow YES! I wish he was voicing Shinya in the dub instead! As for the song, it might be a little too shin > kure for me, but then again, I kind of like the idea of Shinya going to Kureto to try to find an escape from loving Guren. Oh, ok, but then the song after “Bite” was “Fools” and WHOA that song is SO GURESHIN I am YODELING.

Ahahaha. For some reason I’m stalled in I’m Yours because I’m trying to figure out the order of the plot, but maybe I’ll write a pwp one-shot. Writing all the fluff for fast food is great, but I think maybe I need to do some rough smut to compensate. I’ve kind of been thinking about something involving a mirror or some other of my gross kinks.

Morning

Tiny little drabble I posted on twitter inspired by Shinya’s ero hip line.

Shinya's asleep, lying on his stomach, his hand tucked under his chin. The covers are nearly off and he can see the curve of his back. Exquisite. This sight, this moment, he wished he could hold it forever. Tuck it in a bottle kept next to his heart. But as his eyes trace the ups and downs of that smooth skin, he also feels the desire–no, the need–to touch. First with fingertips, then lips, until Shinya wakes and lets out that sigh that never fails to ignite sparks within him. What happens after? Well, there's always hopes for more, always more. But for now, just to feast with his eyes is enough. For now.

It's not completely in character, but doesn't "Centuries" by FoB sound like a kureshin(gure) song? It's told in Kureto's perspective and it's about Shinya. "I never meant for you to fix yourself" kind of makes me think that Shinya found solace in Guren instead of relying on Kureto. And the whole thing about going down in history is like Kureto's idea of ruling the world sort of? The whole song just radiates Kureto's aggressive/possessiveness

So.....I have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of that song, or of FoB in general, but I read the lyrics, and there’s couple of lines in here that are pretty....close to canon or fanon.

So, the line, “Until you die for me, as long as there's a light, my shadow's over you,” is pretty incredible since it coincides with Kureto’s “so die for me (だから俺のために死ね)” line in vol. 4 of the LN. Also, Guren is described by Shinya as being “bright to the point of dazzling,” and Kureto’s name (暮人) means “twilight,” so the whole juxtaposition of light and darkness works really well for them. I mean, even without getting romantic, you could argue that this could be Kureto saying that until Shinya proves his loyalty to the Hiiragi, as long as Guren is around, Kureto will keep a close watch over him.

The second line that really stood out to me was “The bruises on your thighs like my fingerprints,” since in my fics, Kureto’s bruises on Shinya are pretty important. In “Choose Me,” Ch. 5,  I have Kureto outright say that the bruises he put on Shinya were a mark of his possessiveness. Bruises also feature prominently in “Honey Trap,” and in Ama’s fic “Fall” (which is so good, by the way). So, I guess it’s fanon that Kureto likes marking Shinya with bruises (wow, we’ve really turned him into a lovely character, haven’t we?).

Actually, now that I think about it, there’s a new fic in the kureshingure tag that is actually called “remember me for centuries,” so anon, I think you’re really on to something.
