Dark-Type is because they're Fiends in Yu-Gi-Oh! though.

What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

Reducing Yubel to "crazy ex" or "woman scorned" with no nuance. (Not aimed at anyone likely to read this, but since I started posting the GX sub/dub comparison series I've taken a look at some Reddit discussions and...whew.) It makes for easy jokes, but once people start taking the memes as truth - which Yugioh Abridged sure shows us the power of - it's like...that's just a less interesting character you made. That's not my beautiful radiation-poisoned son [gender neutral] hooked up to an IV drip of copium anymore. Yubel is hardly the only such case but they're the one we're discussing for the purposes of this post, soooooo!

Gonna drop in one fan plush cause I'm really proud of these precious little buddies! Finally got my hands on a yugioh in-the-hoop pattern so I obviously had to go off the rails with it and make a whole kuribox for one of my friends for Christmas. It's every kuriboh I could make without them having a hat, or wig, or that odd new pointy shape. Though I did do one hat cause he's basically a Christmas themed Kuriboh so I had to make him for a Christmas gift.

In order they are: Kuribeh, Kuribee, Sphere Kuriboh, Preformpal Kuribohble, Astral Kuriboh (As close as I could get him), Kuriboo (my personal favorite on name alone), Clear Kuriboh, Winged Kuriboh, and Kuribah. I did also make just a Kuriboh for this set but it didn't fit in the box so it's not in the picture.

Kuriboh pattern from feltiscreations on instagram. Wings for Winged Kuriboh are from dragonsgarden on instagram and hat is from dreamdesignmiru on instagram. I'm sure they have non-insta handles but I'm just gonna list the one in case any of the others are spelled differently.

Kuriboo

I know the point of the Kuriboh brothers was to use all five vowels for Kuriboh monsters, but they made a really great design choice for the U representative, Kuriboo. I think it's pretty obvious, but it's the white coloration of his fur. He's a little ghost looking guy with "boo" built right into his name! Perfection. I'd also like to say I love the background for this guy; I have no idea what's happening with the shapes in it, but it matches really well with Kuriboo himself.

Propaganda:

Shes slay, she showed up for season 5 and helped win those duels for Yugi while he was separated from Yami. She faced so many aces (dark magician, dark magician girl, SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON) and she helped Yugi define himself as his own person in front of all his friends. Also she's a very cool metaphor for Yugi's growth throughout the series. Also also she's married to silent swordsman and has a daughter, silent paladin. Silent Magician is very beautiful in all her card art and is one of the few monsters to have different colors in the anime/manga and tcg/ocg. Also also, her hip windows are neuron activating.

The Kuriboh brothers are not one card, but five, all used by Yugi Mutou/Yami Yugi. They are Kuriboh, Kuribah, Kuribeh, Kuribee, and Kuriboo. I combined them into one entry so the Kuriboh Archetype didn't entirely take over a corner of the bracket, but also because they were mostly used as one monster by Yami.
