Went to a jfashion swapmeet this weekend and had a BLAST! My first IRL Lolita meet, and I think I even made a couple friends (##) Bought wayyy more than I meant to (naturally), including this really pretty Hoshibako Works OP. It’s way too short on me, but that made me realize it’s the perfect opportunity to try a peeking bloomer look, which I’ve never done before! Rushed home, and this is the coord I managed to put together. I’m rather proud of it! ヾ(｡>﹏<｡)ﾉﾞ✧*。

Purse: Antique Beast (also from the swap meet!) Bonnet: Henrietta Belt: Cotton Candy Feet Shoes: Clarks (so comfy!)

Con crit is super welcomed! I have some ideas for improvement - I’m not crazy about how the shiny material of the belt makes it stand out, so I think I want to find a matte fabric waist belt to use instead here. Plus, the bottom look rather boring! I was thinking maybe layering a grey or black mesh/fishnet tights over the back, or adding black ruffle socks, something to balance out that area and add visual interest. Maybe mesh gloves for the hands? And of course, I totally skipped any jewerly-!! The dress is begging, in my opinion, for at least a floral brooch! If anyone has any other suggestions, or suggestions on my ideas, I’d love to hear them!
