Kuroha teaching his friends baby sister/brother how to say his name...but failing.
Actually, now that I think of it, I might even pronounce his name wrong haha ^^;
Kuroha was hoping for a non-confrontational experience with his friend’s young sibling. He was not much of a kid person, perhaps because many children are not fond of snakes.
With his luck, conflict started during the introductions.
“This is Kuroha.” The friend introduced him.
“Koorooha!” The sibling chirped.
“No, it’s Kuhr-roh-ha.” He corrected.
“Kuu-ooha!”
“Kuhr-roh-ha.”
“Kuuphora!”
“No, that’s worse…”
The child refused to give up, “Coohoha?”
Kuroha let out a sigh and rested his face in his hand. ‘Patience is a virtue.’ He repeated the saying over and over again in his mind.
He tried again, “Kuro-ha.”
The child frowned, “Kuro….” Kuroha nodded in encouragement. “Kuro….ba!”
He looked to his friend for help, only to find them grinning and holding back a laugh.
Meanwhile, the young sibling had convinced themselves that his name is Kuroba.
“Kuroba!!” They cheered, clinging to his leg.
Then they discovered a new nickname for him, “Kurobaba! Kurobaba!”
Kuroha smiled, though if one were paying close attention they’d notice his clenched jaw.
‘This is going to be a long visit….’
