We know Kuroo played soccer as a kid, and even in volleyball he has been shown to slide to save a ball with his feet.

Know who else did a receive that's more associated with soccer? Bokuto. His chest receives remind me of how soccer players receive balls.

So... headcanon that Kuroo and Bokuto have played a bit of soccer on the side.
