Kaneki is the type of lover who notices everything about you—your likes, your habits, the little things that make you you. He memorizes it all without even trying, simply because he cares so deeply.
He’s always looking out for you. Whether you ask for help or not, he'll offer it. Not out of obligation, but because he wants to ease your burden in any way he can.
He constantly checks in, asking if you're okay or if you need anything, because your well-being matters to him more than his own.
More than anything, Kaneki just wants to see you happy.
But even with all the love he gives, there are times when doubt creeps in. He wonders if he’s good enough for you, if someone like him—broken, scarred—can really be the one you deserve. In those moments, you reassure him, which means the world to him.
He’s always respectful of your boundaries, asking for your consent before doing anything.
He calls you "love" or "my love," but usually just uses your name.
If you're a girl, he calls you "princess."
When it comes to cuddling, he’s usually the big spoon. He likes holding you from behind or wrapping you in his arms so your head is resting against his chest. It makes him feel like he’s protecting you.

If you get into an argument, Kaneki will reflect on it deeply and make sure to talk things through. He hates the thought of hurting you or letting things be unresolved.
Kaneki is protective of you.
If someone disrespects you or makes you uncomfortable, Kuro Kaneki will intervene, taking your hand and leading you away from the person without hesitation.
Shiro Kaneki, on the other hand, will glare at the person, his gaze sharpening and voice dropping as he talks to them. He'll wrap his arm around you, keeping you close to his side.
Overall, Kaneki loves you so, so much. He would do anything to ensure your happiness and safety.
