Kurapika was at the front of your door. His phone was ringing violently, but he ignored it. He knew that wasnt really responsible but he really wanted to have ONE day with you without any disruptions. You guys were off to see a new movie, apparently it had a train and that's all he really knew since you chose it for him.

You scrambled to reach for your keys as you dashed out of your house clumsily, almost falling a little but standing up straight after you see him patiently waiting. "Hello my love! You look really handsome today" he remarked, eyeing you up and down with a happy look in his eye.

He could feel himself blush just by looking at you. You giggled a little as you kissed his cheek,holding his hand. The theater was near so you guys decided to just walk.

As you walked, he had a tight grip on your hand as he listened to whatever you said. He always was interested in what you were saying, even if it was particularly mundane like eating lunch. However plans were a little ruined as you arrived at the theater, seeing that the theater had actually closed due to a malfunction. He could immediately see your pout and grumblings of "oh c'mon..." and "I really wanted to watch.."

Since he hated ever seeing you sad, he smiled and held your hand tighter and started leading you home. "Hmm..if the theaters closed, why dont we have our own little one at home?" "I- but you're busy? I know you made some time in the day for this movie and-" he shook his head "no no love! It's alright. I really want to watch something with you." You felt yourself falling even more in love with him.

You arrived home and he led you to the couch, telling you to just choose a movie. You sat farther in the couch and grabbed the remote to look for a move that you liked on a streaming site. You got one, it seemed like a nice movie that both you and him would like. "Hey kurapika! I chose one already!"

Kurapika held the popcorn that he made in his hands as he walked over to you. "Alright, I got the popcorn ready!" He sat beside you and placed the popcorn on the table infront of you. He wrapped his arms around you and immediately let you snuggle into him. He was warm and he was so happy to have you in his life. You were one of the few saving graces he had in his life.

As the movie went on, the closer you two got and entangled in together. You had your head in his chest as he kissed your forehead happily and content. He could feel himself tear up as he was so overwhelmed with love.

"Hey y/n?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you, I really love you"

You giggle, digging yourself closer into him as he traced shapes onto your back

"I love you too"
