This piece is dedicated to all of the peanut butter sandwiches I've been eating recently. Also RIP to my old French Press, that thing absolutely exploded on me a few days ago and has left me without coffee. Terrible!

This was going to be a one page comic, but I biffed it so hard on the colors for the bottom panels that I gave up completely, so here's TWO WHOLE VERSIONS of what this looks like.

I don't really know how I feel about this one to be so for real, but here it is anyways! It's been three years of school and I still haven't learned how to color. Maybe I'll figure it out during thesis, who knows.

I wanted to make something WEIRD and also lowkey felt like my art was getting a little too safe. So I made THIS. Partially a style excercise and partially a comic about the powers that be putting your soul in your body wrong (Because he was distracted, y'know.)

This is an assignment for my illustration class! We had to do a book cover and the Comet in Moominland book floated to me like the green goblin mask. So this was born out of that.

A piece about trying to ignore memories of a place after you've had time to recontextualize and recover.

Another test piece! This one done with the lineart done in graphite. I usually scan my traditional work and draw ontop of that digitally, but i don't really have access to a scanner right now so I kinda just took a picture and plopped it into procreate. I think it turned out pretty alright!

This is more "official" art for the graphic novel I'm currenlty working on. (I'll be honest, this character really isn't in the story that much, but I really like them a lot so I wanted to make some bangin' art to celebrate them.)

Also-- Happy Pride! Accidentally kinda used the lesbian flag as colors for this one. Didn't mean to. I think it looks nice.

Girl... I wish I could tell you that this didn't take me, like, 8 hours. But it did. I don't know why the deer itself took me 2 hours to figure out, but it did. Don't even ask about the person. Thus is my curse.

This was, unfortunately, not for my graphic novel. BUT! I'm cookin' on more work for that. I just wanted to take a quick bit to get this illustration out of my system. You know how it is.

Anywho, I'm gonna be spending a week in the middle of nowhere in the moutains. Perhaps more fun spooky stuff will come out of it- we shall see.

Anyways, here's a concept illustration for a graphic novel I'm working on. The goal is to have a pitch done by the end of the summer, so hold on tight with me folks and let's enjoy the ride! Right now i'm trying to figure out what kind of style I'd want to go for and HOW TO DO COLORS. I swear, the universe had to get back at me for academic struggles in college. The forces that be realized that I wasn't taking any math classes and gave me color studies instead. Every time I have to color something I end up screaming and clutching my head in agony and writhing on the floor. It always ends up ok, though.
