Brittany and Kurt truly we're an underrated duo

Yes!!! I loved their friendship and I wish more ppl talked about it!

Like the only part of the student council election storyline I liked was how Britt wanted to be Kurt’s campaign manager. She did that out of the goodness of her heart which is so great of her.

I know why Kurt would be afraid to put the posters she made up and I sympathize with him, BUT I think it’s so amazing how Britt wanted Kurt to be authentically himself. She loved him for who he was and didn’t want him to change for anyone. Britt wanted him to own his sexuality and not dial himself down because of people who wouldn’t be comfortable with it.

AND I also love that in ‘Preggers,’ Britt helped Kurt make an excuse for Kurt dancing in a leotard. Like Burt thinking Kurt’s gay wouldn’t affect Britt at all, but she was kind enough to say that Kurt is on the football team. She knew how Kurt wasn’t ready to come out to his dad and she helped him postpone that until he was comfortable.

Also I like to headcanon that they got really close when he was on the Cheerios & that she would make sure he was invited to all of the parties and always included in things whenever the girls hung out.

Kurtanny

I think my favorite thing about the Kurt/Brittany friendship is that Brittany is one of Kurt’s few friends who just accepts him whole-heartedly and is genuine about her love for him? And Kurt might be sarcastic and colder in some days with her, but he also loves her back? We see him get frustrated with her but much of it comes from his own insecurities. Like legit she’s insane but she’s also kind to him?

Like the fact that even when he loses to her she’s just like “you;re still the most unicorn of all” and is just happy about him? Kurt doesn’t have a lot of those relationships where someone just loves him unconditionally or without serious drama.

The fact that Brittany just loves all of Kurt, is genuine about it, doesn’t want him to change at all, is very important for Kurt, who may be told to just be himself by people he loves (Burt, Blaine, Mercedes to name a few) but Brittany does it without prompting or to convince him otherwise.

There’s no “you don’t have to be like them, be yourself” its just a plain “be yourself bc you are just awesome” and you might think these are the same, but consider the context. One is a response to Kurt’s doubts, and one is just a compliment. Brittany doesn’t understand his insecurities because she doesn’t see why he feels that way-and that’s an important quality to have for a friend for Kurt.

She believes Kurt is amazing, and therefore she believes Kurt should think the same.

So has anyone else thought about the fact that Kurt can't be as innocent as he is portrayed? Let's be real: At one point Puck declares that he's had every flavor of Cheerio...Kurt was a Cheerio meaning that Puck had him at one point. AND Brittany tells Artie that she's slept with everyone on the football team and wants to keep her perfect record...Kurt was on the football team meaning that Brittany slept with Kurt if she has a perfect record. In other words Kurt is totally just pretending to be a prude for his dad and Blaine's sake.
