Uncharismatic Fact of the Day
Cardinalfishes make great dads! After mating, the males of some species will hold the eggs and newly hatched fish in their mouths to protect them from predators. Because of the difficulties of parenting with a full mouth, these dads won’t eat anything until all their young have grown big enough to leave.
