Do you have any headcanons regarding Kurt's adoptive parents in the X-Men Evolution universe?

Personally, I think they would own a small farm, but I want to know what you think.

I would love to say they are Roma and treated better, but, realistically, I can´t lie like that. I do think they were farms. This makes more sense, considering I had a small class of geology on Germany...is it possible for a couple in Germany, to have a small farm and own the land?

Details aside, I do think they being farms is great (small parallel with the Kents, hell yeah)

I think the mom was the one who found the baby and saw how he is blue and furry and at the brink of death...forget his looks and hurry to save him.

The father saw the baby almost dying (bc putting a baby in that condition has risks), and well, they managed to save the baby. Aside from the strange looks, the baby is like any regular baby.

I like to add a priest, a good one, who found the baby and agreed to help the family. Kurt grew up with love, even if he had to be hidden from the world.

The priest taught Kurt as he couldn´t go to school. So Kurt goes to the X school, he wasn't behind in the subjects (well, English was still a challenge for that, but that is a given. He is a German raised by German parents)

The parents and priest aren't antisemitic. If the X-Men want to show "hey not every German is bad" that is a way (The X-men and Marvel should try to show "Not everyone in the US is evil or stupid or both")

Two things: First, have you ever read or watched the Lord of the Rings?

Second, I'm currently working on an AU where X-Men Evo Kurt and Kitty get isekaied to Middle-Earth (where Lord of the Rings takes place) and join the Fellowship. Any thoughts?

I watched the trilogy, love it and I do think is near perfect. I saw the hobbit....and why it was needed to make a trilogy eludes me to this day, like yes I get "MONEY" but ....they don't have material for a trilogy. I do like Rings of Powers (i do like Saurondriel. I like the trope "the dark lord is in your party and YOU have no idea")

Oh Kurt as a literal elf? Ok. The elves would find that strange...I think they would see him as a hybrid of elf with orc which would make people go ?????

Or a Maia who is with a strange disguise (Gandalf would raise an eyebrow but once is clear Kurt is not in cohort with Sauron, all is well)

Kitty? She is human who is also a ghost.

I think they would see her as an angel which (or close as if they think Kurt is a Maia...could the same extend to Kitty? Why not?)

Now in which era they are? The whole "let's destroy this damn ring" or "Sauron is the big deal, fear him?"

Bc if we are on the fellowship of the ring...hm, I feel Sauron would be interested in knowing more about them...and he is Satan, in a way.

What are some fun or wholesome Kurtty headcanons you have? (Specifically their X-Men Evolution incarnations)

Here some of my hcs

1) Kitty doesn't know how to speak German. At all. But she wants to learn and tried to learn in secret...she used the Duolingo or the equivalent (Duolingo uses AI now, fuck the bird) it doesn't work so well.

2) Kurt likes to hear about Kitty's culture. He is respectful about it. They feel comfortable to talk about their religion.

3) They trade uniforms once to see how it is. The Michale Jackson's look is perfect for Kurt, Kurt does look great as Shadowcat.

4) They like to stargazing

5) the new mutants/students do like to make fun of them just how they used to do with Jean and Scott. "Vindication!" Jean and Scott says in union.

6) Terry is a supportive mother. Kitty ignored Raven.

"Man, this new era of comics sounds very heavy for Kitty : She's dealing with the PTSD from the Krakoa era making her kill all those soldiers, how she had to carry most of Fall of X on her back to look after mutants, how she directly watched mutants getting gunned down and being powerless to help them, ... It's a good thing Nightcrawler just dealt with his own PTSD arc about killing people while under mindcontrol and other similar traumatizing experiences in the same time frame and seems to have completely recovered without any side effects. I can't wait for them to talk to and help each other through those common bad situations they've been through since Emma would be the last person she'd need to do that right now. Kurt will sure reach out to her right away since he knows what it's like to deal with all of this alone...

What do you mean Kurt didn't reach out or even talk to Kitty once since From the Ashes started "

Nonny it's what I reply in the other ask, kitty pryde doesn't have friends. Many celebrate how she is Bi and could, in theory, have a gf (one we never saw it and exists just to say "see see she is queer") but no one talks how she has no friends. Logan drinks beer with the elf. Storm does her godly things, Jean and Scott are doing their thing. Who is thinking about kitty? Yana but she is not reaching her...

If no one in Krakoa care for Kurt being a drunkard (marvel canonized him being a sister fucker bc he has perv dreams with rogue. Ofc.) do why they would care for Kitty? No one cared to give her a Jewish funeral when she died.

Storm was upset sure but...she is Storm. If shaw (can't believe he killed Kitty, like come on) killed Kitty ...Storm wouldn't be so passive or be swayed by Emma "trust my plan" she would wreck terror...and many X-Men should. That alone should prove how put villain in power was a horrible idea.

Reading those asks about kurtty lacking in the comics is a bummer.

I hope theyll be in marvel rivals to fuel us if they dont want to in the comics man xmen evolution spoiled me with this ship please why is this even a rarepair i thought theyre friends that genuinely want to cheer the other up ouuuuughghghgh

If the writer wants angst they can do a falling in love arc since yknow considering their initial meeting.

I do like the idea of them in Marvel Rivals. I do think Kurt has a Kurt main...not released yet. I don't play it, but I saw some images butI could be wrong. Kitty? No image. But Lockheed is there ...somehow.

hi kurtty mun,

even as a fellow kurtty shipper myself, if there was a verse where I wouldn't mind Kitty stabbing Kurt a few times (fatally), it would be 616 and that's all because of krakoa since Kurt was a real pain through and through to the other characters and to the plot itself while Spurrier wrote him.

my girl turned into the ninja she swore herself off of becoming, went through hell and back in fall of x and nearly stabbed firestar for seemingly selling mutants off to orchis during the attack and switching sides (she didn't, she was a spy within their ranks) all while dude bro was having fun as some wanna-be spiderman cosplayer.

everyone else got things going : they canonically managed to contact the f4 and doctor Van Doom, plan for what to do during cyclops's trial, break inside the orchis prison holding cyclops and juggernaut, spy on orchis, ... all during fox. that's how much time wasn't wasted because it couldn't be wasted under those circumstances.

if Kurt had been locked in an orchis cell this whole time, he would have at least been sympathetic and salvageable as a character and friend. the scenario we actually got instead makes him look worse than awful as a person and no f-ing friend of his calls him out on it

🫩 fr. not only was nightcrawler's mini a pointless waste of paper and canonically a waste of time, it doesn't improve Kurt's character or restore him back to who he was in excalibur with that "finding myself" journey because he wouldn't even act like this dumb and foolish during excalibur and that was when he was younger and less mature.

I'd have to ask those fans : what made Kurt get so many crisis in faith and identity crisis during krakoa ? what stopped Kurt from being the version you liked so much from excalibur pre-fox ? the one some of you mentioned momentarily seeing in his immortal xmen issue long ago during axe ? ... being into politics ?

get real. what stopped him was Spurrier knowing nothing about the character he was tasked to write for close to 4 years and only figuring it out a little bit too late, at the wrong time and wrong place.

but I guess all those shots and panels of Kurt looking hot, bangable and cool while dressing up as a masked superhero he isn't and reliving his excalibur days are all you need to defended him tooth and nail as fans for being a selfish prick while mutants got decimated LIVE.

thank god the mommy issues brought him back to the plot, am I right guys ? because the one true addition nightcrawler's character really needed all those years ago was mommy issues ×3.

Its what I'm saying, Kurt is a bad person,we can't even use the "ah Kurt is just dumb" bc stupidity doesn't excuse his pathetic life crisis and how he priorize himself over all his friends. Azazel, the guy Spurrier wants YOU, to believe is the big bad, is coming out as redeemed than Kurt.

Kitty has dibs in stabbing the asshole. Yana,the coolest, should watch and take turns in stabbing him as a fun activity.

Now I ask, why Kurt was having all this crisis of faith and identity? I feel....that was never solved. Spurrier really had no clue on what to do with him and it shows. I'm on the theory Spurrier hates Kurt, secretly.

howdy mun,

as a kurtty shipper, i'd say kurt did "inspire" kitty to look past her prejudice against him due to his demonic looks and mutants with a physical mutation... but that apparently doesn't matter on the long run. she'd go on to meet more mutants with physical mutations anyway and her friendship with nightcrawler not existing in the "azazel takes over everything" timeline doesn't change much about the xmen or excalibur. hell their friendship and nightcrawler's presence apparently become irrelevant and replaceable for the climax of god loves, man kills and how people perceive mutants.

nightcrawler being part of excalibur doesn't even serve his main purpose in life since he had to be an xmen when azazel eventually shows up. not a member of excalibur. nothing else but a good pure xmen. he had to stay that forever and nothing else or the timeline is doomed. even if he stopped being an xmen plenty of times, was even spiderman and got into politics for 3 years without doing anything xmen related.

nightcrawler wasn't even the one who mentored kitty, that would be storm and wolverine. kurt was kitty's friend. he mattered a lot to her, not denying that, but did he inspire her ?

no.

and no i don't count kurt quoting the mantra of his cult to inspire her plan in marauders. wtf was that.

nowadays while kitty's deep in depression, she doesn't recall a single advice from him out of their shared past together. she doesn't hear a single word of advice from him nowadays. he doesn't reach out to her to help.

and that's a good thing because how could he inspire her after he ditched everybody to play spiderman ? he cut contact to have fun and find himself... which he only did through mommy issues.

but nightcrawler reaches out to wolverine in his solo run and even that is shallow.

what logan is doing has been something he normally did plenty of time before and even what nightcrawler did as spideman less than a year prior.

so nightcrawler only got involved in something that would solve itself eventually without him but did not get involved in something that needed somebody like him to solve itself...

and that's how kitty pryde got emma frost.

Hello, another Kurtty shipper, you know, there ships that won't be canon but can still be well beloved. Zutara is a good example of that, and the creator of the show does hate Zutara, but Marvel seems to want to kill a smaller number of people who shipped it. Marvel hates the idea of Kurtty bc Kurt can only bang hot babes and nothing else and Kitty is a fetish for the writers.

I used to make fics about them but when Krakoa shows up...it kills me. No, it killed me in the Age of X-men.

Kitty befriend and loves, platonically, Yana who has a demon version. Kitty has met Caliban. Kitty ended up never needing Kurt and Kurt...doesnt care for her.

Kitty is depressed, alone and only Emma Frost cares for that? Keep in mind ...they are training teens and it´s not something Kitty wants until she was forced to do that.
