I keep rewinding the fight. We did not have nearly enough scenes of these two fighting, imho.

Keep in mind, back in our day (holy shit, I actually get to use this phrase unironically, I can’t believe it. I’m fucking dying), we did not have the term “shipping” yet. You can imagine how weirded out some of us were upon realizing we just wanted peeps to hook up after watching them interact (or not even interact).

Like, think Finn after he has the dream about Flame Princess and Ice King and how he really just wants to watch them fight for some reason he can’t figure out. We all know how fucking weird that shit was. Well, that was the dark days of fandom before we had the terms we have now to talk about it.
