Nightcrawler week: day 4 what if
Decided to draw some thing for my what if there were bamfs in evolution
They snuggle
I talked a while ago about bamfs being in evolution and this is my thought behind it: forge convinces Kurt to explore the teleportation dimention more and attracts the attention of the bamfs without him realizing what they are as he gets spooked by some weird plant thing trying to grab him and gets out of there. The bamfs have imprinted on kurt and leak into his dimention and decide to snuggle up with him as the new “big bamf”. Kurt wakes up and being a dumb fifteen year old, thinks he somehow spawned offspring cause well they look like him and can teleport like him and he is PANICKING and totally confused as to how this happened. So now he’s playing teen parent to them until he figures out what they really are.
I wanted to give them all unique features so funky hair styles. What should he name the bamfs? Let me know!
Eventually, the fact that Kurt has his bamfbies will get back to the brotherhood…. But i figure when it does the game of telephone will have spun enough that they think he HAD the babies like himself. And they figure hes just been using the image modifier to hide it. This false revelation makes Todd break from his gay denial and realize he has feelings for Kurt due to this new fake heterosexual light.
And so he attempts a flirt and despite his best efforts his failure is inevitable.
Which is a shame kurt loves Applebee’s

Poor kurt. His bamfbies do not understand his fear of cosleeping and potentially hurting them. The good news is you have nothing to worry about regarding these guys considering it’s canon that all you need to do is gently squeeze a bamf a little and they will instinctively teleport away. (Note do not cosleep with your babies human babies are not bamfs)
once Kurt figures out that’s safe though things will be better. They are much more willing to nap this way in a big pile with the lorge bamf.
For halloween Kurt got his bamfs baby costumes….they aren’t big fans of them but he adores them. He rewards them with sweets.
In your Bamf babies Evo AU, how does Mystique react when she learns about the bamfs? How does she take being a grandmother? Will she see this as a second chance that she never got with Kurt or will she simply not care?
It’s complicated…
