NO MORE K WIRES*!!! My splint is now touching the actual end of my finger instead of protecting the protruding wire end! *that you can see. My last Lady Deathstrike-esque k-wire that was protruding from my ring finger was pulled out in today’s appointment! Here's what I have to work with after surgery four. It's now almost two months since the accident, and two weeks and two days since the bone graft in my ring finger (there's an emoji covering the k wire end). I still can't hold anything heavier than a cup of tea in this hand, but with the removal of my index finger k wire I can now hold a needle which is the most important thing! I'm going to try and do some embroidery next week as part of my physical therapy, so I can't wait to get that set up and show you guys. #shortfingerslongstrides #seamstress #amputeegirl #handinjury #kwire
