Dear Dinner

Dear Dinner,

     How do I start this? It's funny, actually. Before I even met you, I had hated you for things I wasn't even apart of. Stupid, right? I'm forever apologetic about that. To think you were a bad person but then to find out that people were lying to me... Boy, how twisted my views were and how naive I was to follow what people said about you without giving you a chance. I'm so glad I did because now I have an irreplaceable friend who stuck by my side, even when no one else did. God, I cannot ever express how much you mean to me or how grateful I am that you let me be apart of your life, even if I've wronged you before I even met you.

     Slowly, but surely, when neither of us are busy with schedules, we both try to chat with each other and we literally talk about anything as we get closer, with each day that passes.~ Especially how attractive we both are. Heh. I sometimes want to punch you in the face because that should really be illegal. Your face, I mean. I don't know, I'm just thankful that you decided to stay and that you didn't listen to others... I'm always afraid of losing people and it hurt, thinking that I would lose you. So I'm glad that you stay and you have no idea how hard I'm going to cling to this friendship. Because anyone who stays when someone's at their worst, deserves to see them grow to be their best. And I want you to see how much I've changed from how I used to be.

     I love how you let me eat your chocolate, too. You're greedy with those things so YES. SOME FOR ME. I'll share my cakes and my chocolate and my coffee with you, too! I am your Dessert and you are my Dinner. We go hand in hand and a meal's not complete without either, just like how life doesn't feel right without you and I. Heh. You're one of my best friends and I hope we can continue to get closer as each day passes us.

Dessert, I brought you Lindor chocolates. You're supposed to be my slave for a day for that or something around these words considering such a huge mercy. Ah, lord... I'm sharing such a treasure with you.
