hey, kxtsumi, not to call you out, but here are a few things to answer your points.
bill’s comments here too (please watch the rest btw its hilarious)
to cap it off, here’s a ton of nba hall of famers talking about getting in the zone
as for Kise’s ‘masochism,’ thats ace mentality. the idea that you need to play for your team no matter the inkuries. all time great larry bird seriously injured his back while paving a roadway for his mom, and would play games through highly intense pain, sometime right after surgery. he talks about it in the masterpiece documentary “magic and bird, a courthsip of rivals.” There are multiple instances of nba players playing throuhg injuries. i just don’t want to link sports injuries because those are so nasty oh gosh.
For Kagami entering the zone multiple times as opposed to Murasakiabara’s 1, two things. one, Kagami was infinitely more motivated that Murasakiabra in that game, and needed it way more as well. two, being 7 feet tall puts serious pain and damage on your body. Yao Ming had to retire in 2011 because he had been plagued with a host of injuries to his feet caused by being 7′6 and 310 pounds. It’s likely Murasakibara’s insane height for a freshman caused hime to not be able to handle zone-level exertion fro more than 1 go-round.
I’m in nooooooo place to talk about Akashi’s psychosis though, so im not going to comment
