Water for elephants was INSANE
like the things people can do with their bodies???? Crazy???? There was one stunt that went a little sideways, but no one was hurt and they kinda played it off well. Also Zostan was one of the most incredible numbers I’ve ever seen… idk something about it just was- like the acrobatics??? The puppetry??? The dancing??? The singing??? The storytelling woven into it????? Yes yes yes
also the end of the opening number gave me chills I nearly cried tbh
at stagedoor I asked Kyle selig how he sings while HANGING IN THE AIR HOLDING ONTO A FUCKING TRAPEZE and he told me that actually it’s not that hard? Something about how his arms being up opens up his chest. My jaw was on the floor when he was doing it and he sounded so good too…
Anyways it was an amazing show I had so much fun :)
if this 'rocking out/air guitar' move was scripted, there's definitely a take of kyle whacking case in the head by accident, i just feel it in my heart
