I was working on a new song/video today, and it really didn’t feel like it was going well. Even now, I’m still feeling pretty ehh about it, but I am really doing my best to have the faith that it will turn out better than it feels now. I’m writing this for anyone else that can relate in your own life. Take a moment to breathe, get away from it for a little bit, and get back to it. Don’t give up on it. That’s the easy thing to do, of course, but don’t let yourself give up. Push through it!
“But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” -2 Chronicles 15:7

Speechless.
I can’t even begin to describe the brokenness and bleeding of my heart after this terrible and tragic weekend. Both areas of shootings strike a tender chord in me as they were both locations people go for love, acceptance, and safety. To be met with the opposite of that is terrifying, misguided, and evil. I pray for the families of the victims in this shooting last night and for all the fans of Christina Grimmie that had their idol ripped away from them. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to witness it firsthand after sharing a show together with this fabulous human being.
This weekend has been terribly tragic, and I’m so heartbroken. In a world where we can choose to pick evil or love, always choose love. We all need more love surrounding us, and it’s a shame to see what happens when someone is void of love in thoughts, spirit, or heart. God bless all those impacted by these terrible tragedies.
