I recently attended an amazing Broadway production of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird at the Shubert Theater. Bravo to Ed Harris, Lisagay Hamilton, Nina Grollman, Kyle Scatliffe, Nick Robinson, Neal Huff, Eliza Scanlen, Rosalyn Coleman Williams and company. They all show up at a dinner party one night. Together. And everyone is so confused and they try to set up Chris with random people because obviously Mollie and Giles are married so who is this guy? But Mollie just links arms with her boys, one on either side, and they stick together the whole night.

Also. Giles and Chris going outside to do "manly work" (whatever that means) but end up sitting on the ground making snow angles.

They come back inside freezing and Mollie takes their coats and warms them up.

"Did you change the sign?"

"…Oh, we decided it was charming."

This time I'll send you some headcanons! Okay so Mollie and Chris teaching Giles to cook and he's. So bad. So so so bad. But they love him anyway, even though at Mollie's suggestion he stays away from the stove.

I’ve been at work all day and !!!!!!

Yes omg he’s TERRIBLE, he melts pans and burns water and Giles darling, how on earth did you manage to mess up salad?!

(He successfully makes Mollie a softboiled egg and toast for her birthday and is THRILLED with himself.)

Mollie having a really long day, so she gets home and passes out sprawled across the couch. Chris walks in a few minutes later, and without missing a beat, curls up next to her, quickly falling asleep as well. A few hours later when Giles gets home, he goes first into the kitchen to make 3 cups of tea, but when he sees them all asleep, he shakes his head with a smile and sits down, looking at the both fondly. When they wake up, the tea is cold but they are all happy, The end.
