You grunted as you started to stir from the fuzzy dream you were in. You laid in the bed not opening your eyes yet and trying to remember what had actually been a dream and what had not been. You remembered being in some strange woodlands but had no idea how you had gotten there and then there had been that man... Surely it had been a dream. You opened your eyes and found a dark grey plating that confused your eyes at first. You blinked with force then opened them again and found that it was some sort of pattern on the walls. You sat up from the soft bed you were laying on and knew that this was not a room you should have woken up in.
You swung your feet over the side of the bed and looked around the room more. There was only your bed and what looked to be a dresser. There were two doors, but neither had door knobs on them. The room altogether looked very... alien. You thought that perhaps you were in some weird Swedish hospital, but you most certainly could not have been in Sweden. You stood up on your feet and walked over to the two doors. The first one on your right you tried to push on it and look around the perimeter for some sort of button or lever that would let you out, but you were not able to open it. The second door, to your left, opened the second you stood in front of it with a speed that didn’t match any automatic door you had ever seen. You peeked your head inside the door and found what looked like a bathroom. There was a toilet and an alcove in the wall that looked like a shower, except that there was no shower head for water to come out of. You figured that you weren’t going to find anything in the small bathroom and returned the bedroom you had woken up in.
You walked up to the first door again and tried once more to see if you could discover any way to open it. You gave up after about ten minutes then sat down on the bed again. You weren’t sure if you were some sort of prisoner, or if perhaps you had fallen ill, but something inside you made you fearful of finding out why it was that you were locked inside a strange cell-like room. You didn’t have to wait long though to find out.
You were looking down at your lap when you heard the sound of the door swishing open. You brought your eyes up to see what was behind the door, and found the man that you had thought your mind had conjured up to be stepping through the door with an authority that made you think that you were in some sort of situation with the military. You memory of his lack of understanding of personal space was most likely correct as he took little time in approaching you and moving his face close to yours.
“Do you know why I’ve brought you here,” he asked you, staring straight into your eyes. His gaze made you feel like squirming and you presumed that, that was his goal. You shook your head.
“I don’t even know where I am,” you swallowed and did your best not to look too petrified.
“You are aboard a First Order ship,” he answered thankfully pulling his face away.
“What’s that,” you asked, “some sort of military vessel,” your voice cracked as you were a little worried about being in some sort of trouble with the military.
“What is the name of the planet you are from,” he asked. You snapped your head up in his direction so fast that you were positive that you could have gotten whiplash.
“What,” you slightly laughed as he asked this. He raised an eyebrow to you.
“I asked you what the name of your birth planet is.” You couldn’t even respond right away you were so baffled by his question. You could see that your lack of response however, caused his anger to fuel. “Do you even know who you are dealing with, do you know what I can do to you. You will answer me.” He has dropped his face back down to yours and bared his teeth as he spoke.
“Uh-Earth,” you furrowed your eyebrows together in confusion. He stared at you then pulled his hand up and showed you what he was holding within it. He uncurled his fingers and let you see the artifact that you had been working on in your museum. He pulled his hand away but the object stayed floating in the space that he had once been holding it in. Your mouth dropped.
“Where did you find this,” he asked calmly. You were once again feeling baffled by what was happening and started to laugh, shaking your head.
“I-I-er... I work at a museum and my job was to restore it and try to translate the writing on it, but I couldn’t figure it out.” You couldn’t take your eyes off the floating artifact.
“Where was it found originally,” he asked pulling it back into his hands sensing your amazement at the trick.
“Somewhere in Malaysia,” you answered bringing your attention back to him.
“Where is Malaysia,” he asked you inching his face even further. You huffed at his ignorance. You would think someone who was high enough in his ranks in the military to be able to interrogate prisoners would know where countries were at least located.
“Southeast Asia,” you answered. Just then a voice came from behind him.
“Sir, General Hux has requested your presence on the deck,” you thought nothing of the mans voice until the man who was interrogating you stepped aside and your eyes landed on what looked like a human hybrid of a fish and frog at the same time. You couldn’t even function enough to scream. Out of absolute fear and confusion you grabbed a hold of the human mans arm and pulled him as your body finally was able to let out a blood curdling scream.
Your sudden hold of him made him stumble only slightly but he quickly turned around to you with the same serious facial expression he had kept for most of the time you had been talking to him. He placed both of his hands on the sides of your face as you tried to squirm out of his grasp and run from the scene, but he held you there.
“Look at me,” he said but you were still panicking. “Look at me!” His scream made you bring your attention to him for just a second, which was enough to make you calm in a very odd way. It felt as if you were placed into a trance and all you could focus on was the beautiful brown of his eyes. He brought his hands away from your face then pulled the one back quickly like he had that time before in the woods. Instantly your body fell back onto the plush bed and once again your welcomed into darkness.
You ran through the woods, not really sure where to go but just running, hoping you would find some sort of indication of where he was. You could hear his groaning but the sound only bounced off the trees making him sound like he was coming from two places at once. Your lungs felt like they were going to burst from the icy cold air constantly being heaved into them. You didn’t let that stop you though. You kept running until you were certain that his voice was right by you.
“Kylo,” you called out mustering whatever air you could spare. You fell down when the ground suddenly shook with such a force that you had to dodge a few trees that had been knocked out of their place in the ground. You got smacked in the face by a branch and could feel it lightly scraped your cheek.
His agonized voice groaned into the cold air again and you ran toward it. A bundle of black cloth was laying in the white snow. You saw it shift and knew instantly it was Kylo. You ran forward and kneeled in the snow next to him. He moved to prop himself up to meet you. The sight of him made you want to vomit. His face held a slash on it running from the middle of his forhead down through his right cheek.
“Kylo,” you gasped, tears stinging your eyes. He reached up and brushed his fingers across your cheek where the branch smacked your face.
“I’m okay,” he gasped out a cloud of his cold air blowing into your face. A rumble of the ground brought your attention back to remembering that you needed to evacuate the planet. You threw his arm around your shoulder and used all the strength you had to pull his long body up off the ground. His scream rang through the air in the pain that he was surely feeling in that moment. You sobbed out as he did this, feeling guilty and worried at the same time that you had just irritated his wounds. You pulled out your holocommunicator and called Hux. It rang for just a moment before a blue embodiment of General Hux appeared on your wrist.
“Use my tracker to find me, I have Kylo Ren,” your voice was fast and high pitched from your worry.
“We will be picking you up shorty, be prepared to board quickly,” his hologram shut off and you dropped your wrist. Kylo started to lose his balance and was starting to pull you down with him. You grunted and pulled him back up.
“You need a lighter wardrobe,” you huffed holding him in your arms. You looked up to him with a smirk on your face, but realized that there was something wrong; despite his serious injuries. “What happened?”
He stared forward and didn’t answer you, but you could see something changing in his eyes. You couldn’t tell if it was from his tears or from the red light of the magma that was brewing right next to you, but there was a golden hue that was glittering on the outer rims of his iris. He slowly turned his head toward you and linked his oddly colored eyes with yours.
He lifted his hand, that wasn’t wrapped around you, and brought it to your face like he had earlier. There was something different in not just the color of his eyes, but the way he used them. They looked at you not with the sweet affection that they used to, but with a deep and utter aggression that seem to stamp a label onto your being, claiming you as his. It sparked something in you that you had never felt before. It wasn’t quite butterflies, it was more like fireflies that made your entire body feel enflamed with the sensation.
You both took half of a breath before both crashing each others lips to the other in a manner so quick there was no time to question the decision. He growled into your mouth, half from the pain from his abrasion across his face, half from the rush of arousal he felt from the way your bodies were pressed together. He pressed his thumb on the cut on your cheek, you felt the sting of the wound followed by a small trail of blood travel down your cheek assisted by a tear that had been making its way down your face from before. He pulled away traced the blood up your cheek with the back of his hand, wiping it away.
“You are mine,” he shook with some anger that you were hoping was from the fight he was just in, but couldn’t help the feeling that it was rooted from something much more serious than that. You just nodded, knowing that even if you wanted to leave you couldn’t.
