I wanted to portray the characters with the proper positive emotions this scene was trying to invoke, instead of Kyoushiro’s weird “I hate you Teru get off my head” expression in the original.

I guess making fun of Jyoushiro in the Ginga fandom is old news by this point but oh well I got a burst of inspiration and I wanted to draw my designs for Kyoushiro vs Jyoushiro side by side lol

For those somehow out of the loop, "Jyoushiro" has become a fan nickname for Kyoushiro's completely backwards character development starting in Ginga Densetsu Noah (though some argue it was in earlier mangas too), as he literally went from a tragic anti-hero warrior who protects puppies from their abusive parents to becoming a creep who can't fight anymore, abuses children, and makes low-brow poop and fart jokes as a comic relief.

With how OOC Kyoushiro is in the later mangas several people including me have just refused to accept that he's even the same character as when he was first introduced in GDW, hence the Jyoushiro persona.

Fun fact tho my version of Jyoushiro is actually based off the bootleg Kyoushiro plushie with his mirrored scars and brown ears lol
