i hate the moria kozuki hate so much when it's such a nice wrinkle to the character.

when we meet moria he is a depressed man, a coward, a schemer, a guy that has been so traumatized by the death of his crew that he not only hides himself in the fog of the triangle, only surrounding himself with toys and zombies but he openly rejects the idea of a crew because all crews are destined to die. oz looks so much like kaido, i don't think it's a coincidence: every action moria undertake is driven by his defeat.

when he belittles luffy, saying he will be crushed by the new world it's clearly projection. BUT also he is right the strawhats weren't ready, and Sabaody is the next arc. luffy loses his crew too. luffy breaks down while being separated from his friends but moria saw his crew get butchered.

we also know that moria even though he is a terrible human being is clearly a caring person. he adopted perona, he goes to pirate island to face blackbeard to save absalom and is clearly distraught when he learns of his death. so moria wasn't simply disappointed by his loss, his ego wasn't simply crushed, he also lost friends.

SO NOW THE KOZUKI REVEAL ! moria was at Roger's execution he was part of the wave of pirates inspired by his speech, he was young and hungry. what we can guess now is that his encounter with kaido wasn't simply two pirates facing each other for the top of the food chain. he went there to save /his country. just like all those broken samurais we met in wano, moria got crushed by kaido trying to save it. HE LOST HIS CREW BECAUSE HE WANTED TO SAVE HIS COUNTRY. SO THAT MEANS IT'S HIS FAULT. can you imagine the guilt ? it wasn't to follow the dream birthed by roger's words but because they followed him to the land of his ancestors.

tldr: Moria is a great character, people can't read one piece anymore because of memes and power scaling.

The Pink Coats found that their power over Momo Town was being threatened by a seemingly omnipresent force. Many of those unfortunate to be in-debt to them in any shape or form would be consumed by fear if they lived long enough to feel anything.

A despair that would take form and become power to strike back at the thugs running the show. Many reported being on the end of their rope or literally on the edge before a voice spoke to them in their heads, promising that they didn’t have to take what the world was putting them through.

After the power left them, the victims would claim to not remember what happened. However, they would see what their alter ego had done in acting out their greatest desires. This would lead to a lot of destruction, especially as Miraculous Bearers got involved, but the pink coats would often leave well enough alone in not wanting to rock the boat.

The Big Peach was not about to take this lying down. Especially as investigations revealed that a black butterfly would fly in and imbue itself into a material possession of the victim. The Butterfly Miraculous had been found and was seeking to subvert his family’s legacy. Even if some of his goons were chickening out, he wouldn’t stand for this.

Someone had just put a target on their back. But who? Those they shook down remembered feeling comforted by the voice and the paternal vibe it gave off. Like someone looking out for their child. Male? Female? That they couldn’t make out. It just felt… like a relieve.

It was as though they themselves had been one of them, one of the downtrodden. Abandoned by the world. Inevitably a name was

Of course, one other clue that came up was that each champion of the Moth was searching for something. Especially as they avoided engaging with those who could fight back. The Big Peach recognized them seeking in places where he thought that Miraculous was.

Suffice to say, it was one of the rare occasions he broke a nervous sweat.

The terms : Oden wouldn't be oden, if it wasn't boiled. From the start where it was a joke, to the end where the thing happened. Such beautiful storytelling, such beautiful details. Such painful betrayals and so many things. Also, Kozuki Oden and his sacrifices, and his backstory. Him being Newgate's brother, his journey with Roger. Him coming back to wano, and leaving yet again. His 5 years of dance where people looked down on him, and the ending, which was so brutal, and so cruel.

I hate it the most when someone assures you of something and then later on, they dismiss it, especially while you were doing your end of things. It is right there that I get trust issues.

But seriously, Kozuki Oden, Toki. You both will be remembered by the land of wano for the things you've done, but more than that, sometimes I just wish that you guys got to live your full lives. And the whole of land of wano too

Also it breaks me a little when I see what Momonosuke has to go through. He's still just 8 years old. And for him everything has happened only recently. So when people make fun of him or look down on him, it makes me so angry that I wanna just dropkick them.

One Piece theories of someone who fell victim to spoilers:

Info I had - Oden died in the flashbacks. Yamato dresses and acts like Oden.

What I ASSUMED - Kaido, respecting Oden, took the body with him after the execution. Oden was so damaged by the boiling (cause of course he can’t be *dead*) that it was irreparable. Kaido, called his good old buddy Linlin extracted his soul with her devil fruit and put it into a child. Kaido called this kid his but kept him locked up alone on the island. So Oden has been living for over a decade, STUCK in this body, as the son of the pirate that killed him and waiting for his samurai to jail break him.

Tell Me Shanks Is A Bad Guy After This

This shows me a man that really cares about those he’s formed bonds with and I can’t see him hurting Luffy. He really just wants to see him as a challenge instead of nibbing him in the bud like people like Aramaki/Greenbull.
