@plasticonobandana asked me to do Cerian Quilor for the meme.
The Fracture Point, the first Kyrkverse story takes place in the year 453, Confederation Reckoning, in city of Nestinos, capital of the Kyrkbergian colony Ruras, on the continent of Aniora
Full Name: Cerian Quilor Gender and Sexuality: Cisgender Heterosexual Pronouns: He/His/Him Ethnicity/Species: Balaan Ethnicity, Human Birthplace and Birthdate: Kyrkberg the City, on the Isle of Nimeria... his date of Birth... I know I wrote down how old he is, but actually, I can’t find it anywhere. I wanna say he’s like, 27-28? Guilty Pleasures: Koussathian Food, Obscure Historical Details, Liberal Politics Phobias: To a degree, his half-brother. Also, he’s more than a little weirded out by the idea of centaurs, though he’s never actually met one (they don’t tend to travel to the coast at all, let alone a major city like Nestinos, and no Centaur has left the continent of Aniora. What They Would Be Famous For: In time, for his career as a Senator and his conduct during the Caeron Riots in the 470s C.R. What They Would Get Arrested For: Reckless disregard for property in pursuit of his duties on behalf of the government. OC You Ship Them With: Sort of Alexiana Caeron, his ex, but not really - like, I’ll tease them getting back together for a while, but they never do. I don’t really see him with any cross-universe OCs OC Most Likely To Murder Them: His half-brother, Dariel Quilor, in time. Favorite Movie/Book Genre: History, Political Ideology Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: He doesn’t really read much fiction. Talents and/or Powers: He tests as a Grade Six (on a scale of ten, which operates somewhat exponentially) Combat Mage, and his extensive training allows him to stretch his raw talent further than someone untrained. He also has six degrees (In Kyrkbergian education, a degree represents a single year of highly focused study - a practicing lawyer would have five or more degrees in law, for example. The student takes four classes a day, five days a week for 40 weeks in the subject of their degree) His degrees are in Applied Magic, Practical Magic, History, Law, Theoretical Magic and Koussathian Language and Culture. Why Someone Might Love Them: He’s got a good snark to him, and he is so done with this shit, like, always. He’s smart, firm in his beliefs and genuinely wants to make people’s life better. He’s very direct about who he is and what he wants. Why Someone Might Hate Them: He’s a Balaan’s Balaan. He has most of cultural attitudes and prejudices of Balaan culture, including a basic sense of cultural superiority, the feeling that religion is quaint at best and makes for the great butt of jokes and the like. He’s also got a short temper at times. He’s not big on social nicites. How They Change: He gets a lot better at respecting the religious beliefs of others, especially after he really comes to terms that his disrespect for Alexiana’s faith was a huge factor in them breaking up several years before the Fracture Point starts. He also gets some of his cultural superiority beaten out of him. Why You Love Them: He’s the excuse I had to write any Kyrkverse stories. He’s also got a lot of my personality baked into parts of him, albeit exaggerated in some places and moderated in others.
