STEVE AND DIANA!
who hogs the duvet: STEVE. that man has not been warm once in the middle of the night, he’s legit always cold. who texts/rings to check how their day is going: it depends. when they’re long distance while diana is in college, steve is usually working and diana will try to call him in between classes but steve is the one who calls later in the night just to hear how her day is was who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts: diana! she isn’t normally the kind of person you would expect this from so it makes it even more special. she’s very observant and ends up giving steve some really sweet gifts that really show she pays attention too. who gets up first in the morning: diana! she’s a very restless person and doesn’t sleep much. steve is…not a morning person and it takes diana almost banging pots and pans by his ear to wake him up.who suggests new things in bed: diana! steve is just happy to be along for the ride.who cries at movies: akdgaklgdklj STEVE. diana roasts him all the time about it because normally steve doesn’t pay attention to movies but when he does he gets Investedwho gives unprompted massages: steve! they’ll be out and about waiting in line for something and he just starts rubbing her shoulders. after long days at the lab, steve is also the master of massages. (👀)who fusses over the other when they’re sick: diana refuses to even admit she’s sick. stubborn as hell and thinks she can just..will away the germs (how can a smart person be such a dumbass). steve is very hovery and tries to take care of her but she’s a little impatient about being babied. meanwhile steve gets sick and his Dramatic ass acts like he’s dying every time. diana lowkey likes to baby him though so i guess both of them.who gets jealous easiest: STEVE. he’s…an insecure person deep down (lies, it’s very near the surface) and especially around diana’s male colleagues he feels like he has to compensate and puff out his chest. he gets a little cruel/passive aggressive towards her friends when they’re alone because of it and the Old Steve ™ comes out sometimes. diana shuts it down real quick because he’s the one for her.who has the most embarrassing taste in music: diana………….she unironically loves the song I Want Candy and says she thinks about steve when it comes on and he has…never been more offendedwho collects something unusual: diana! hair scrunchies (steve has at least 10 stuck in or under the seats of his car), star trek action figures, and not unusual but her comic book collection in 2019 would probably be worth thousandswho takes the longest to get ready: …steve. easiest question on here akljglksg. diana doesn’t wear much make up (maybe some blush and/or mascara) but she doesn’t like itwho is the most tidy and organised: diana but that isn’t saying something. diana is a kind of Chaotic organized where only she knows where things are. steve is just messy.who gets most excited about the holidays: both of them! when they’re dating long distance those are the times when they finally get to see each other. even minor holidays that give them a long weekend where steve can come visit her at school makes them excited. diana is…secretly super soft for christmas time too.who is the big spoon/little spoon: both of them don’t mind either but it’s usually predominantly diana is the big spoon (60/40)who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports: they’re both so ridiculously competitive. they also like rival football teams (ironically, diana’s dad who hates steve likes steve’s team so they tease diana come football season aka the only time they ever bond) so things get Intense (tm). when at steve’s for thanksgiving, they play football in their backyard with steve’s cousins and it is Very Serious Business. also monopoly is no joke in the future reed-harrington household. mostly because their kids are stupid Smart and take their poor dad for all his fake money.who starts the most arguments: steve but that’s because diana closes up on him and refuses to talk about what’s going on which...can be super frustrating. who suggests that they buy a pet: steve! he’s allergic to cats but he thinks once they have kids they should grow up with a dog. what couple traditions they have: they celebrate weird national holidays like they’re super important by having date nights on those days calling back to times when she was at MIT and he’d visit. every time they go to the movies they have to split a bag of skittles - diana eats the orange and yellow ones, steve eats purple and green then they split the red ones. they still pinky promise each other when they’re in their 40s because it’s just what they used to do wayyyy back in ‘85 when they were first getting together. diana is allowed to read a chapter of whatever book she’s reading before they go to bed and then she has to put it down because if not she’ll just keep up all night and steve is allowed to take it away from her after that asdghjklwhat tv shows they watch together: diana tries to get steve into Star Trek every couple years but he doesn’t have the attention span to get super invested into it like diana is. he likes the alien of the week format but he’s never a trekkie (he can’t even remember the character names). still, he watches it casually to spend time with her. in the 90s they’re HUGE fans of friends. what other couple they hang out with: robin and her gfs + her eventual wife!!! i refuse to let them not be best friends for life thanks for coming to my ted talk. how they spend time together as a couple: they love going to the movies! going on hikes, water parks, theme parks or fairs are also favorites because they both love adventures (steve’s hair after a rollercoaster is.....peak comedy). they regularly take random drives in steve’s car, just talking and listening to music. steve loves to cuddle with her while she reads or studies. who made the first move: DIANA. pulled an iconic “hey do you wanna take my v card before I leave for college?”who brings flowers home: steve!!!!who is the best cook: diana! steve cannot cook for shit at first but he gets better.
