Nothing Else - Auram & Kyross
Yung not-even legal talents Sol Speech x Kyross and newcomer LiquidCouch have collabed on a lil' instrumental track. Coasting on the nebular chillwaves ~
IF YOU AIN’T ALREADY BUMPING ‘EM...
Listen to: Fragments by Kyross.
Kyross, aka Kyle Cramer, is a young, fresh-outta-the-womb 17/18 year old from Vancouver, BC. The self-proclaimed “bedroom producer” is one heck of a talent. From dark, bass-heavy tracks such as Jungle, classic nu-disco funk mixes, and the more accessible, party-ready beats like Ceremony, Kyross is an incredible, 4th-dimensional producer . His first few releases are much more contemporary electronica, taking notes from post-dubstep producers such as James Blake, they are definitely also worth a listen. (On a side note: I accidently just played the James Blake album twice at the same time, approximately 6 seconds apart, GO, GO DO IT NOW.)
I've come back to edit this post because I don't think I've praised this song quite enough. It's been stuck in my head for days now. Lush, bouncy bass; an echoed voice gently chanting, "Get up...get up...Get up now!" Fragments is your mundane Monday morning pick-me-up, and your Friday afternoon longboard cruise song along the Sea Wall in Vancouver.
If the combination of multi-faceted, resident chill-boi, Giraffage, and the epic sound of Flume, intrigues you; give Kyross some love!
