ok so me and my friend @luckybeansy were talking about the visual novel Purrgatory (go play it, please, it’s so freaking good and it’s free) and at one point I say, “Convince me Kyungsoon and Numa aren't just a slightly different flavor of Zooble and Gangle”. And a few minutes later of photo editing, they send me this masterpiece

She's back there again, at the door of her surrogate sister's flat, but this time May hasn't even attempted to rehearse what to say to her. Her fight with Uriel is still ringing in her ears, along with the blackmail threats she'd delivered to Priscilla Rubin. No sentences will form, certainly not coherent ones; the only thing making any sense is the constant loop of I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry, pounding in time with her feet hitting the pavement. Dread sits in the pit of her stomach, growing heavier as she buzzes into the building and ascends the stairs.

And when the door opens, it hits her full force, the gravity of everything she has done, every wheel set in motion. The hope in Kyung-Soon's eyes at the sight of the woman who had promised to save her nearly breaks her right then and there, knowing she's about to watch that hope die. And she's furious all over again; at Uriel for his bullshit decision, at herself for promising things she couldn't deliver, at the other gangs for putting her in this position in the first place. But mostly she is utterly devastated. The guilt is so strong she's almost nauseated. May had never been one to avoid the consequences of her own actions, but in that moment she wants to run and hide from that expectant gaze.

"Ky," she begins, but words die on her tongue, lips parted. Her hand reaches for the doorframe, steadying herself. "I'm so sorry, I'm so— Uriel, he wouldn't listen and I just—" Her throat is dry and aching, choking her, eyes stinging with sudden tears. I promised I'd protect you and I've failed you. I've failed you. I've failed you. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I tried. I'm sorry. I—" The hand that isn’t propping her up rakes through her hair, tugging as though she wished to tear it out, and she has to swallow thickly before she can continue. “I can’t believe I’ve done this to you.”

Secret: Kyungsoon started one of the first gossip/exposing blogs that lead to the trend of insider-like blogs in fame universities. Just weeks into her first year at Blossom Bell she started 'Kira's Notes' to expose a former Dean and his son, which eventually blew up to become a way of students picking each other apart years after the Dean and his son were removed from the university.

Early Life:

Kyungsoon was born in Daegu, South Korea growing up in a middle-class family. She was the middle child of three kids, both of her siblings being boys. Going to a high school specialised in the arts the students around her wanted to be something among the lines of a k-pop idol, kdrama actress, or a webtoon writer/artist. Kyungsoon always knew that she had an interest in music but she was always leaned more towards rock and metal music; genres which are often frowned upon in South Korea, not that she ever cared. At the age of 14 she became a guitarist for a metal band, eventually leaving that group to be a frontwoman for a rock band when she turned 16. One day after a performance, Kyungsoon was asked to attend an audition for a small k-pop company. She was never sold on the idea and continuously declined the offers, but after almost two years of them turning up to her band's gigs and handing her flyers she decided to go so they'd leave her alone. After purposely putting on a trash performance at the audition, she ended up getting accepted into the company. Even though she didn't want to be an idol, she knew that she had no actual plans for her future after high school, so she signed with the agency anyway, at least until she found something else to do.

Kira's Notes started out of good intent. Just weeks into her first year at Blossom Bell, she overheard the Dean's son (a fourth year) discussing how there were hidden spy cams in the girls dorms and how his father was aware of it, recording the conversation as it happened. Knowing that keeping the information to herself could harm all of the girls living on campus, she posted the information anonymously through an exposing blog, Kira's Notes. Once the word was out the Dean's son -at the peak of his career- was out the student body, and the Dean was out of a job. As time went on people came out with more information on students and staff involved, and Kyungsoon continued to post details until a couple months later when everyone that seemed to have a role in it was gone. Although it was meant to be a one-time thing, started to receive tip offs about different people associated with the uni. From controversial hookups to accusations that could complete ruin someone's image, once it was posted to the blog people were ready to read.

MINX/Dreamcatcher:

In her second year, Kyungsoon had made her debut in the group MINX, a five-member group with a cute concept. She hated the songs they sang, to say the least, but stuck it out because of her group members who she'd grown to adore. Two years later, MINX had disbanded due to lack of public response and the girls hid away in the agency. As Kyungsoon was prepared to pack her bags and drop out of Blossom Bell, the agency announced they they were going to give the girls the chance to re-debut, bringing two new trainees into the mix. In early 2021, the new girl-group "Dreamcatcher" was in the talks, ready to debut in the later half of the year. Unlike MINX's cute concept, Dreamcatcher has a more rock/edgy sound with a dark-nightmarish theme, much to Kyungsoon's liking. Knowing that it was too risky to promote in Japan due to the large number of j-pop, j-rock and k-pop groups already there they decided that they needed to move somewhere else they could build their success, but still be close enough to Seoul so they can fly for promotions without it being too draining.

Current day - Exchanging to St. Judes:

Due to the company being small and Dreamcatcher being it's only group, they work on projects unsure of whether or not it'll be their last one. The girls chose to take up the exchange to St. Judes mostly as a shot in the dark to find a place to develop their sound more. It was decided that if they did well, they'll stay in St. Judes and fully transfer, and if they didn't they'd move elsewhere before heading back to Blossom Bell. In an attempt to gain more exposure Kyungsoon (who has been rightfully branded as the main vocalist of the group) has been encouraged to take on solo prospects expanding past the rock genre prior to their debut to gain hype. After months of being begged by her managers she finally caved and promised to post covers outside of rock and metal, starting once they're in St. Judes. Even though she isn't in Japan anymore, she still posts on Kira's Notes, going off the tip offs she receives from students.
