i like how the fact he’s very small and cute means his opponents, esp pre timeskip, tended to underestimate him (and this fact often lended itself to him winning fights). i keep seeing ppl posting “oh Luffy’s so cute.... sunshine boi....” and then other people posting “he’s NOT cute he could BEAT YOUR ASS” and it’s got me like. you’re both right... he can be both at the same time........

one thing i wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon

LUFFY RESCUE ARC WHEN. i want him to SUFFER also i want his crew to get to repay him and save him the same way he’s done for all of them. i think it would be very good.
