Alriiiiighty guys! It’s The Day! The first day of Libra’s intuition augmentation challenge, or as I’ll be abbreviating it - L.I.A.C!

The first challenge will be up shortly, but for now, here’s the prize info! You could win that pile up there! - A copy of probably THE best book for intuitive tarot reading - 21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card - the infamous Celestial Journal - a cedar smudge stick that I harvested & dried - some incense (full disclosure, I totally stole one of the cones and discovered I’m allergic to them sooooooo sorry it’ll be a cone short…) - and a pair of hand knit wool reading gloves (like you wanna think about wearing gloves it’s gonna hit 40C here this week but by the time I’m mailing the prize out it’ll be cooler!) - ETA - I’m also throwing in a selenite tower & labradorite piece!

Ok, so how do you get your mittens on … um those mittens lol? You do my challenges! There’ll be 15 of them posted this month, on odd numbered days. If you complete 10 of them, you get 1 entry. You complete all 15, you get 2 entries! You make it easy for me to see you’ve competed 10 or 15, I’ll double your entries! Plus, there’ll be a couple of bonus things mid-month to earn extra chances! (And, if you do something I deem Cool, you might arbitrarily earn another entry…)

L.I.A.C. Challenge 13 COULD THIS BE YOU? @resonance-of-libra This is a spread for someone who has a specific person on their mind. I had the feeling to put on "I Feel It Coming" by the Weeknd....so if that means anything to you, or it was just in my head. •first card is a representation of you. I feel like it was very adimate about letting me know that you are an earth sign, possibly male. You are very practical and this situation you're in is your main focus right now. You're trying to use a combination of emotion and practicality. •second card is whoever you're dealing with. They are VERY independent. They aren't even worried about anyone else right now. Even if they're in some serious relationship situation with you, it's the last thing to bother them at the end of the day. This could be on purpose. They don't want to get themselves worked up over small things, so they turned their attention to what they have and appreciating what surrounds them currently. •third card is what you're thinking. You can't help but think about all the good times you had with this person. Your mind is constantly on Old Times. Things were easier then, more peaceful. You two were still young and carefree with each other. "We Don't Talk Anymore" is playing now... •card #4 is what you're feeling. You're in control of your emotions, but it's not without struggle. Who are you, my fellow reader?

Part 13 of the L.I.A.C. challenge <3 @resonance-of-libra

First of all, I’m being very chaotic, this is my 4/15, but I felt the NEED to do it right now. Secondly, excuse my wrinkled bed sheets and bad lightening! x)

Okay, I definitely feel like I’m reading for another reader. Quite powerful one and highly intuitive. I get a former acrobat or some sort of sports that caused back problems. Seems like whatever decision she was facing, whatever path she had to chose, it led to trouble. It feels like karmic cycle. I hear family problems, someone left. Someone left the family. She longs for rebirth and transformation , to free her self from the chains that perhaps her family are putting. I see her moving abroad, definitely far enough from the madness. She is running from something, from her problems. As long as she avoids climbing the tower, she will never find peace in death and happiness in rebirth.

Pfew, that was intense for some reason. I know I don’t go reading each card but.. that’s my style of reading when I go into intuitive mode xD This came out weirdly poetic O_O

I tend to be chaotic, sorry about that <3

L.I.A.C. 13- Reading for a Stranger- Is It Yours?

Today’s L.I.A.C. challenge is an interesting one! I am doing a tarot reading but I have no idea who its for! It might just be yours. Read the reading below and if it resonates with you let me know! I want to hear what you think! But if not, do me a favor and give this a boost. Let’s expose it to as many people as possible so my reading can find it’s home.

My dear, dear querent, you are so sad. You’ve spent your whole life working towards something, a goal that is very important to you. This was something that you wanted, or maybe not that you wanted but perhaps your family wanted for you. But it was still important you, you wanted it for them. You achieved it for them. But somewhere in the effort to do your family proud (your parents?) things got messed up. You feel like you messed them up. You blame yourself. I am getting the sense that this has to do with some type of work. You got so far only for it to slip through your fingers. How did it go wrong? Was there a dissatisfaction there, were you so unhappy with this decision you made for someone other than yourself. Or in your attempt to make your family proud did you do something immoral that you are paying the price for it now? 

Whatever it is you sure are paying the price now. While you blame yourself, you also see yourself as a victim. There is so much anger here but perhaps a stronger sense of shame and sadness. I can hear you thinking “how could you let yourself be so swayed by your family! If it weren’t for them you wouldn’t be in this situation right now.” But then you immediately turn the blame on yourself because “how could you have been so stupid to let yourself make a decision for someone else’s happiness”. You want to lash out but you don’t know where. I get the sense that when you do get that build up and need to lash out, you do so to yourself.

You are letting these feelings of anger and shame and sadness control you and, in turn, control your life. You are stuck in this cycle of negativity because this is all you are allowing yourself to see. It is like you are in a maze, stuck at a dead end and every time you try to escape you end up at another, possibly the same, dead end. You are feeling so trapped.

Relief is coming your way but you have to be prepared to break this cycle you are stuck in or you will miss this opportunity to free yourself. You need to start small. Recognize the little blessings when they come to you. Find the things to be grateful for. Open your heart. Someone is coming to you. A generous person who will be able to support you and guide you into better times. Perhaps they are already in your life but in your current state you can’t see them. Trust your intuition, trust yourself. There is more to you than you are seeing at this time. Its time to forgive yourself and rebuild your relationship with yourself. This is important you need to trust that you can guide yourself down the right path.

L.I.A.C. Day Ten! Intuitive Spreadcrafting

Today I made a Tarot spread! So that was exciting! I tried really hard not to second guess myself when I was making it and it came together pretty well. My spread is about cycles, and getting out of them. So here’s how it works:

1- What initiates the cycle. The trigger that starts the repeated behaviour. This is what to look out for. 

2- The downward turn. The ill effects brought by continuing the behaviour, either against yourself or those around you. Or both.

3- The struggles that are keeping you in the cycle, what’s holding you back from moving on.

4- How your behaviour has to change so that you can get out of the cycle. 

5- Something you can do, something you can change so that you can get out of the cyclical behaviour. How you can actively break the cycle of behaviors. 

So there it is! It was really cool to make a spread. I read it for myself and it seemed to work out pretty good. And I’ve reached the first L.I.A.C. landmark! So all of this is pretty cool ^-^

The 10th LIAC event was the creation of your own intuitive card spread.  It involved taking your deck and laying down cards where they felt right until it was ‘done’ and then looking at it, and assigning meaning to each card.  Please find my ‘State of the union’ spread below the cut.

1. How am I right now?

2. What energy am I projecting?

3. What actions am I taking?

4. What should I do to ground myself better?

5. what should I be thinking to take better care of myself?

6. Where do I go from here?  

I actually forgot to take a picture of my own final reading, but the jist of it was, you are what you have always been, but your projecting bad energies and doing bupkiss about it.  Get out there and start sharing yourself and also, be more compassionate with yourself.  In the end, things will work out.  

Have I mentioned that my deck has permanently marked ‘me’ as the 7 of Pentacles?  Any time I ask about myself, 7 of pentacles.  Ask it to throw me a card to think about, 7 of pentacles.  Talking to a friend about tarot and demonstrating pulling a card, 7 of pentacles.  Thanks deck.  Amused, flattered, finding it hilarious every time.

1/15 What kind of diviner am I right now?

Using the William Blake Tarot

IX Imagination

This card really hit when i was flipping through them quite a few others also did though. So i put all the ones that hit into a pile, then kept going through it and putting the ones that hit most into a pile. Until i got down to this one being the one that hit most

Opening portal. Shifting light. The light blurs and wavers. Flashes across into unfamiliarity from the familiar. Cutting in to the meanings.

Dropping pennies into the well and getting back glitter spitting out.

Moving with the opening, and the light all as one.  Arch structure containing and keeping stability. Fixity holding amidst the flux of seething colours.

I did a sort of automatic writing for this. Writing out the imagery that came from looking at the picture.  And i think that itself is an example of the what kind of diviner i am right now that’s being pointed at.

Opening into imagination flows semi-trancelike and floating through it. Getting imagery and going  with it. I think is suggesting i really focus on the automatic writing right now, and develop that method further.

Imagination is The Hermit in this deck. The Hermit shining its own strange light,  carrying own lantern high. Relying on own light more than that of others.

Having a sort of confidence (but thats not quite the right word) to experiment with and develop my own forms and methods.
