Can L412 in pink be coordinated gothic?
If you’re very creative you can do a Gothic/Sweet hybrid coord with it, but it’s such a Sweet dress that I don’t think there’s a way you can get away from that. For a Sweet/Gothic hybrid I can see it with a black overskirt, Gothic jewelry (avoiding Sweet themes in your jewelry because you want to emphasize the Gothic look), and headwear that combines the looks, perhaps a pink and black bonnet lined with black roses.
Letter #412:
Dear *pangalan ni dating kaibigan*
Ui, kamusta kna? Namimiss na kita. Namimiss ko na tyo ang magkakasma-sma. Tandaan mo? Tyong apat? Sorry kung nging mapride ako ha. Sorry kasi masyado kong tinaas pride ko. Tinalikuran kita . Sorry ksi binitawan kta. D ko man lang inisip nararamdaman mo. Iniisip ko lng srili ko ksi naiinis ako. At alam kong natatakot ka. Alam mo ksi ako pag naggalit dba? Nkakatkot. That’s why you remained quiet. What if kinausap ka namin dti? Magiging gnto pba tyo? Sorry tlga. And I miss you. Sana man lang, magpansinan nlng tyo as civil friends, Sometimes hang out in the same group. Magkamustahan. Pra onti onti, makamove on na ako.
Maging masaya ka sana sa new group of friends mo ngayon. :) Love you.
in your opinions, what are the best pieces on bodyline? No particular category, just was curious about the pieces you'd choose (:
I'm a big fan of L412. It's very versatile and I've seen it with so many great coords, Gothic, Classic, and Sweet. I also really like L328. It's not nearly as versatile but I think it's super cute. L325 is a great skirt. The quality is great and it's just a beautiful piece and I also love L353.
I've been working on making a few nice coords with Bodyline's L412 in black, but I can't seem to decide if I should attempt to work with Bittersweet (I've only put a handful of coords together, and honestly, I wouldn't really call them coords) or if it would look better coupled with wine reds and go a more classic or gothic route. Any suggestions or general opinions would be lovely! I appreciate the time you take to run this blog, I hope this isn't too vague of a question. D:
I would stick to Gothic and Classic. While the dress definitely has Sweet elements I see Bittersweet as something that's better done with dresses that have a print since the whole concept of Bittersweet comes from those dresses that are black with a pastel print. I absolutely adore this dress though for Gothic and Classic. My favorite coord that I've ever seen it with is this one where she layers it over blouse L311.
I'm sorry if this is in your inbox again, but I wasn't sure if it went through, and I'm terribly short on time. But do you think these shoes would be acceptable to wear with a first coord? I don't think they would look very good. They're not very Lolita to begin with (they could possibly work with something more old school or maybe Punk Lolita, maybe if you swapped the laces out with ribbons to make them cuter) but they're also very clunky and have a bit of an industrial look which will clash terribly with the soft, light, and flowy nature of the dress.
