(In case you ask why it's not "the La Fonda," as New Mexicans are fond of so referring: It's about the subtleties of Spanish, in particular when it comes to conjunctives and possessive articles. In Spanish, the article "the" can be represented, depending on context, with terms like "la," "las" or "los;" ergo, to speak of "the La Fonda" is to resort to redundancy. And BTW, "La Fonda" means "the inn.")
