since i'm really bored at work, and i have nothing better to do, i decided to open tinder and bumble, the only dating apps that i'm currently using.
it's draining, no? swiping left and right on people you barely know in the hopes that one good swipe will lead you to your person. it's dragging trying to be vulnerable to a stranger, risking all the walls you've built just so you could learn about their favorite color, their favorite tv shows, or their favorite fucking food.
i don't want to do this anymore. i don't want to be swiping on people, yearning for potential matches and hoping for a spark, or a vibe, or anything that will give me a hint that maybe, just maybe, a flicker of a possibility for a good future can be seen on a single swipe.
online dating sucks, you guys.
but also, how do people meet new people nowadays? no, really, how? how do you guys meet interesting new people with a potential for a relationship? hmm
