I am a proud first generation Mexican American, I wear that title proudly like I do my brown skin and my first language which is Spanish. I was born in California to an immigrant father, raised by immigrant grandparents and played alongside immigrant cousins. I have never experience the kind of unity and kindness as I have in my Mexican community.

I will never remain quiet when it comes to injustices that my people and many other alike are currently suffering with. If you agree with this act then you do not have an ounce of empathy or respect for anyone around you and you are nothing but a bigoted white supremacist
