Okaay....I just binge read and finished the OATS fanfic Yesterday. It is sad but also beautiful 😭♥️😭♥️😭

Aaaand... I really need to draw this scene.

I was reading it peacefully until I got spoiler about 'that' one spesific thing when someone accidentally commenting the SPOILER in the comment section of my previous oats azula and katara comics...😭😭*((really tho people...please read the description!! ))

I started to read it for Zutara but somehow I also attached on Azula and Katara interactions there. Thank you so much for Eleventy7 (@tinyhistory ) for making this awesome fanfiction...♥️♥️♥️

I am back!! Lol

Btw here is a gift for @leah-demarco !! I always want to draw this but just got time to finally finished it..hahaha.

So basically .. Kaoru needs an advice from Leah the master of Herbology to help her etiolated succulent. As we know, Kaoru likes herbology..but she always bad at it..and the plants seems to hate her...uuhuhu. (But really tho..who can grow succulents in the dark Slytherin dormitory...hahaha)

Can you notice the difference in my art style now? My art program in my old tablet is not working anymore..hiks thus the change in coloring style..

(53/365) Zutara Week 2020: Day 4- Celestial

So for this prompt I somehow got the idea to draw Katara and Zuko as Orihime and Hikoboshi from the Tanabata story.

And as for the style, I wanted to mimic the old chinese painting so it would be similar to Oma and Shu arts from ATLA.. but even though it looks simple, that simplicity was actually really difficult to draw.. 😅

BTW, did you know Tanabata?

"Tanabata or Japanese 'Star Festival' is celebrated to commemorate the romantic story of two lovers represented by the stars Vega and Altair who are only allowed to meet each other once a year as long as the skies are clear"

Which is basically a story about star-crossed lover, just like our Zutara and we could say that Zutara Week is kind of similar to Tanabata festival..

I am still reading 'Once Around The Sun', a fanfic by eleventy7 (@tinyhistory ) this short comic is based on the scene in Chapter 14: Good Luck Wedding.. where somehow Katara and Azula got drunk and talked about 'Taking over Earth Kingdom together'.

ps. I thought those scenes was very funny that I tried to draw it. But I think it's still even funnier inside my head...🤣🤣🤣

pps. I was not seeing Jacaranda tree reference when coloring the comics.. I should have used purple tones..hahaha 😂

(52/365) Zutara Week 2020: Day 3- Fuse

You know what? I think my interpretation for this prompt is very stretched because I was not even sure what's the meaning of fuse? Hahaha

The only idea that I got was 'fuse' like in Steven Universe fusion... But then I thought it would be interesting if it's about cultural fusion? And suddenly it is becoming this mini comic about Katara's betrothal necklace, a water tribe cultural item but with a fire nation twist and touch~* chef kiss.

I have always wanted to draw Zutara betrothal necklace since Day 1 Zutara Week 2017. But the designs never really fleshed out. I only thought that it would be gold pendant+ blue stone/ sapphire, with red ribbon. And just now it's finally here..hahaha, I am quite proud with the finished pendant design.

Huft... I think I should have draw all of the prompts since weeks ago. But I always draw it around 3-5 hours before I posted it and its kinda made me anxious (coz I am afraid not able to finished it on 'The Day').

(50/365) Zutara Week 2020: Day 1- Reunion

Since my first idea for this reunion prompt seems really similar with my 2018 Zutara Week Day 3: Tea, thus I took a different approach for this year Zutara week.

This took place in my imaginary Book 4: Air, where Katara helped Zuko to find his mother, Ursa. I have my own headcanon on what happened after Book 3 finale...and it's very different from the comic books sequels. Maybe gonna share it someday. But for now, please enjoy this mini comic~ XD
