Tonight was bittersweet. I know most of you won’t understand or care. But the past 4 years have been a journey for my family and I as we have take action of our health and in doing so we have learned a lot about these fantastic animals and how the food industry works. It took me a long time to work up the courage to attend one of these vigils. I knew it would be emotional for me. I am so glad I ended my year saying goodbye to these magnificent creatures and showing them an once of love and kindness. The only bit they have had in their entire, but short lives. These pigs have been crammed into these trucks, literally on top of one another, no room to turn around or lay comfortably. They are forced to climb over one another. As I witnessed this happen in one of the trucks, the poor pig getting trampled on was sick and hurt, and so miserable. They were so very thirsty as they have been traveling for days in those conditions with no food or water at all. Covered in each other’s feces. I did this for me! I did this for the pigs. I don’t expect to turn everyone vegan, or change the world with one action or one post. I only hope to encourage you to think about what you are putting in your body and thing about the journey it takes to get to your plate. If you don’t buy it they will be put in a position to stop producing so much! And hopefully, eventually stop it all together!! It has been scientifically proven that these animals are more intelligent than dogs! Even more intelligent than a 3yr old human child! And yet all you think they are good for is your Easter roast, or your kids lunchables. . . . . #LAAnimalSave #GoVegan #Vegan #LA #FarmerJohn #ShakeItUpWithFJ #AnimalLover #PigsOfInstagram #Pig #AnimalLiberation #BearingWitness #Advocate #Activist #Pork #SaveThePigs #AnimalRights #AnimalCruelty #JustSayNo #MeatFree #AnimalActivism #Truth #Power #Listen @laanimalsave @thoseannoyingvegans https://www.instagram.com/p/BsCu0GEgJ1S/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=72nxw9zxp8jt
