Are We [Americans] Really This Gullible?

Have you ever taken a look at how our product packaging is getting smaller and smaller while the prices go higher and higher? Have you thought about how we are willing to have a known cheater as our leader? Have you thought about how there is no such thing as customer service anymore? Well, I have. Talk about lack of service! I complete my shopping at Sam's Club. No problems until I went to go get a soda. I always check the soda before I get my ice and this is the perfect example why, they were out of diet Pepsi (this way I didn't have to dump my ice). I tell a lady at the concessions that they need a new diet Pepsi. She said, "We'll have to change it out." Ok, no problem. I knew I wasn't the only customer so I patiently wait for her to come out and change it out. She pulled out some pizzas, put some dishes in the sink, chatted with someone. Now I'm getting frustrated! Next, she takes off her apron! Wth! It gets better (inserting sarcasm). She gets herself an Icee. Umm, what about me a paying regular customer? Crickets......... She grabs her personal Icee and goes into the back room of the concessions and doesn't cone out. Really!?! By this point I'm pissed! I go to the little podium where the store managers usually are located. I asked the lady standing there if she was a manager. She replied, "No but I'm a supervisor. Can I help you?" I explained the situation. She walks with me to concessions. The woman I dealt with, short, overweight, between late 20s to early 30s, long straight brown hair, Caucasian, was still in the back room. The supervisor talked to another concessions person who told her they were out of diet Pepsi. Seriously!?! I told her, "So she made me stand here waiting for her for 5 minutes for no reason? I use to work in retail and the restaurant business. Custumer service is the number one priority!" She agreed with me. Hmmm, I might have believed her if she made the concessions lady come out and apologize to me. Crickets...............
