vibes-based himbo scale for LaDS because I'm bored

(to anyone about to jump down my throat that all of the LIs are smart, please note that I said VIBES-BASED. Also this is not a slight on himbos, this is the opposite. I love himbos, they are perfect men, do not @ me.)

I present to you the LaDS LIs Himbo Scale:

(ranked in order of least-to-most himbo)

❄️ Zayne: the least himbo ever. Practically un-himbo. The nega-himbo. Too analytical, too competent at literally everything, too independent, too smart-mouthed. We love him, but we don't love him-bo. Next.

🐦‍⬛ Sylus: himbo-ish body and hobbies, but too rich, too elusive. Tracks you instead of following you around like a puppy. Eyes show signs of actual intelligence rather than being emptied of all knowledge beyond the present moment. Far too interested in scheming and drama. Not worthy of the -bo suffix. Next.

🐟 Rafayel: firmly in unincorporated himbo territory: silly, ebullient, great abs, sticks to you like velcro, but contains too many multitudes, which is very non-himbo-ish. He plays himbo too often and too well, almost as an affectation. Too moody, calculating, and secretive to fully qualify. Himbo as a side gig at best, himbo appropriation at worst. 3/5

🍎 Caleb: now we're himbo-ing with gas. Loyal puppy energy at maximum power. You can leave him at the gym like a child at a day camp, pick him up later and he'll be happy as a clam. Adorable eyes are wide with sweetness and general tomfoolery. Loses points for being able to hold down a difficult job, engaging in subterfuge, and having a history of complicated angst, but otherwise we award him the official title of Himbo In Good Standing in the OHE: Order of the Himbo Empire.

🌟 Xavier: AHHH. At last we have reached him, the apotheosis of himbo energy. King Himbo. Lord Himbo of the Himbo Isles. Favorite activities include hugging, napping, and snacking. Overly-friendly, innocently accepts any and all assigned tasks with goodwill, regardless of his ability to execute said task. Does not think things through, gets lost easily, huge eyes perfect for gazing adoringly at you but being charmingly vacant otherwise. Unfortunate propensity for reading, but this is cancelled out by a total lack of concern about anything that isn't happening right in front of him. Just happy to be near you and only dislikes things that could potentially interfere with that. We gladly bend the knee to our himbo king and then send him off to the shops for snacks, hoping he doesn't wander off on the way back. A true Himbo through and through.

MC's Pretty Boy Harem

absolutely love the wild idea that we sorta made a fanon timeline where MC just has a harem of men that she is all dating at the same time and there are some days the lads get along and there are days they are at each other's throats but they all love MC too much to leave the harem. Cause let's be honest, this is a harem, not a polycule.

Some things about how the harem works:

-There is definitely a calendar that the lads have to outline who is spending what day with MC. It was the only way to stop the infighting

-if they are out on a group date, things like hand holding and sitting next to MC at dinner or at the movies is decided by rock, paper, scissors

-MC makes them participate in Secret Santa and everyone is pissed if they didn't get MC as their gift recipient

I know I can think of more. theses were just the ones stuck in my head. if you got headcanons i'd love to hear them!

Chapter Summary: Rafayel and Sylus struggle with their tumultuous past (as well as their primal natures), but now isn't the time for it as they rush back to Onychinus's base. Lissie is determined that Dr Liu won't find her an easy target, and makes good on that decision.

This chapter was delayed ridiculously due to real life shenanigans - but it's finally here! Please enjoy!

(Zayne's myth is INSANELY GOOD. So insane it drove me crazy when I got one card on the 6th free pull and instead of saving for Sylus's dragon myth rerun, as was the PLAN, I started pulling with my dias :(
