alright so here's what I think so far: appearance wise? he's definitely handsome, but not as handsome as he could be? I meaaaannn I'm biased when my favorites are THE pretty boy Xavier and golden boy Caleb but c'moooonn infold you could've put a bit more effort into him!!! The main issue for me is the double ears like it's killing me and the fur doesn't even match the red hair aaaaa😖 I really wanted a long haired LI awnnn man

a/n: so far after getting into lads it seems like there’s barely any fics with the LIs x chubby! reader, so y'all know I had to provide. Chubby chaser Xavier is real to me, that's my bf. The idea for this fic came from him taking pics of mc in home mode, the second bro said “I have to keep my cool in times like these”

You sit curled up on the couch of your home, reading a book by the crackling fire. The shower can vaguely be heard from a few rooms away, trickling to a stop. Eventually, your boyfriend, Xavier, pads into the room, still slightly dripping wet as he rubs a towel over his hair. His eyes light up for a moment before he rushes away, calling out after him, “Stay right there.”
You raise a brow, but gaze amused from the couch as he almost slips running off. When he comes back in the room, his phone is clutched in his hand. “Can I take a picture of you?” he questions, eyes pleading.
You shield your face behind the book with a groan, albeit smiling. “Xav, I don’t even have makeup on,” you complain, peering at him from over the cover. He reaches out with a gentle hand to push the book away, practically pouting at your words.
“The light from the fire catches your hair perfectly here,” he explains, eyes wistful as he gazes at you like a precious jewel, “Let me capture your beauty.” You melt at his words, closing the book and pulling him closer on the couch. You brush the damp hair out of his face, fingers lingering along his jaw.
“I wish I could see myself the way you see me,” you murmur, an almost imperceptible frown playing at your lips. His brows furrow at your words, head cocking to the side. He nestles into the couch to pull you onto his lap, lifting you with an ease that still makes you blush.
“How do you mean?” he questions, slender hands rubbing into your hips. The words tangle in your mind, caught in the mesh between thoughts and explanation.
“Like I'm beautiful,” you finally speak, afraid to meet his gaze. He cups your cheeks in both hands, forcing your eyes to meet as his expression turns serious.
“Would I have waited centuries for you if I didn't think you were perfect?” His voice is low as he speaks, thumbs lightly tracing your flushed skin. “If I didn't dream of you every single night?” He takes your hand in his own, lifting it to press a gentle kiss on your palm. “Beautiful isn’t enough for you, my starlight.” He gazes up at you with a silent reverence usually reserved for prayer.
The warmth of his skin on yours practically sears you as he stares into your eyes. Yet it’s nothing compared to the rising heat of your face at every compliment he drops. You gently stroke his cheek as he punctuates each sentence with another kiss to your hand, the small gesture sending butterflies through your stomach.
“I know you tell me every day, it’s just… hard to remember sometimes,” you sigh, laying your forehead against his. He pulls you flush against him until even your eyes are inches apart.
“I guess I’ll have to remind you more often,” he teases with a smile, closing the distance with a kiss to your lips, “can’t let my bunny forget how loved they are.” Arms still tight around your waist, he reaches for his phone on the couch, stopping for a moment to scroll something you can’t see. When he faces the screen towards you, it’s open to an album labelled 'Bunny <3'.
Each picture shows another angle of you around the house; watching TV, reading, gardening, some of you mid-laugh telling him to put the camera away. “This is how I see you,” he whispers, voice dripping with mirth, “Gorgeous.” His eyes flicker from the screen back to your face like he can’t decide which one to place his attention on.
“I have to keep my cool in times like these,” he murmurs, fingers kneading into the plush of your stomach and thighs like dough. His touch is gentle, yet thick with restraint.
“How many have you taken while I wasn't looking?” you ask with a smile, between amused and bewildered. A matching blush settles onto his cheeks at your question, suddenly looking away.
“I want to cherish every moment with you, whether you're in pajamas or uniform,” he whispers softly, gently kissing your hand as if youre his sanctuary, “forever, this time."
“Let's start with this one," you reply with a warm smile, taking the phone from his hands to capture a photo of the two of you, sharing a kiss on the couch.
I don't know what to say.. I'm sad and disappointed. Valko being completely cancelled is unexpected, especially when it's been obvious that there will most likely be a 6th character in the game since launch. And honestly, I really like all the 5 LIs, but I was hoping Valko would be enough to bring me back to the game because I don't play it anymore due to all the existing issues. I was looking forward to seeing him in the game even if it didn't help in making the game more playable long term (｡•́︿•̀｡)
But also, how is it that they're able to scrap a new character most likely vital to the main story and balancing the overall lineup so easily? It's either they made a horrible decision, or never developed him properly in the first place if removing him will be so easy 🤨
Either way it goes to prove that infold lost the plot with LADS a long time ago. I doubt they will ever improve its quality and it'll just remain a shitty money hungry and overly commercialized game, considering how bad their management is
