Digital Fame (in realms of the past)
This Tumblr business is apparently the new bee's knees. Well goddamned I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the sheer amount of fermented idiocy encompassed in the realm of facebook these days. Supposedly tumblr is wrought with idiocy as well, and that doesn't surprise me, you goddamned ironic Stephanie Meyer loving digi..... You see? I bored myself halfway through an insult.
The real issue is; I had a modicum of fame on Myspace back in it's prime, when everything was customizable, one could upload new music easily, and the fans would respond. I'd write stories, people would pretend to like it...
But then! People started dropping like flies. "Join my facebook!" they'd say, and so it continued.
Once that train began to dominate the tracks, myspace disappeared and I just became too goddamn lazy to continue keeping up with the times. I even got a... what was it? Oh yes, a job!
Sure the music continued, but keeping up with the times?! By god, I'm practically 24! The susceptible internet demographic is 12-19 these days. and so my online persona slowly began to dissipate until a whole new species of online living took hold. But! BEWARE! Here I am again! And I'll be damned if this round doesn't last at LEAST three quarters as long as the last!
